Was in Berlin when HM passed, so visited the British Embassy to pay our respects.

Had to run the gauntlet of the German media who were trying to interview everyone. Found it interesting that most leaving flowers seemed to be German speaking.

re Meghan. Not a fan at all. Her media deals are based on dishing the Royals and with the racist comments, well, as very much an interracial family myself I think it likely that her interpretations of discussions on how the babies may look are off base and convenient for her story telling.

Whilst I did have a soft spot for Lizzie, the whole monarchy thing is an anachronism - there were things that really went against the grain, including the hiding of the sources of wealth etc. The wall to wall coverage is driving me nuts.

Except for her mother, the entire extended family is toxic and dad was after his payout by association.

I've been estranged from my mother for years, sister estranged from her for 20+yrs. People don't just wake up and decide to cut people off.

Not been done before - by a member of the Royal Family? Its not as if Orpah was interested in them except they were part of the Royal family. If Harry wanted to just bug-out with his beloved, he should have taken a lead from the last member of the Royal Family who married an American and stepped back from the Royal Family.. At least Edward VIII retired overseas with some dignity, albeit equally bitter as Harry.
