Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

My SCs disappeared late on Wednesday and of course it’s too early for the rollovers to appear yet. However, I already have 165SC posted after arriving in AKL this afternoon, then there’ll be the return flights, followed by the DSC on all that. So a few days into my new year and I will already have 660SC! I was lucky with the DSC promotion in March last year where you could book flights up until early March this year. Perfect timing for once! (And lucky timing after the recent floods.)

All SC'S have now posted, had to do a missing points claim but that was a 2 minute thing.

My membership year started on 1 March. I’m going to be logging into the Qantas website every hour until my status support rollover SCs post 🤣

Hi All, I'm not 100% sure what to expect, Mrs Excel earned Silver for the first time in her year membership year which ended in February. Status rolls over by default, so not expecting an extension, but should she be eligible for any rollover credits?

I attained silver for the first time during covid and can confirm 100SC definitely rolled over even though I only hit silver a couple of weeks before my membership anniversary.

Thank you. The t&c's seem to say that people who achieve higher statuses wouldn't be eligible so this is positive to hear. Do you mind if I ask when your membership year expired and when the rollover SCs landed?

11/7/21 - achieved silver
31/7/21 - membership year expiry
1/8/21 - 100SC Status support rollover

My understanding of the t&c's is when you move to a higher status you aren't eligible for the extension because you already have another 12 months for attaining that tier, but should still be eligible for the rollover to assist with retaining the following year.

That’s my understanding too, and exactly how it’s worked for my OH. She hasn’t however received her PC+ rollover, still. And I haven’t received my WP 500 SC support (but have received the PC+ 100).

Status Support for end Feb does say they’ll post “early March”, and I’m not going to lost me cough about it because I don’t need them for a year (if at all), but I still want them to turn up!

Yep
headstart for this year
but *T & Cs apply

they don’t count towards the 500 loyalty bonus nor Lifetime earn. That is still a touch over 1,000 to go
