Ok..from reading other forums it appears from Staff who are already earning points that all purchases on the one day contribute to a single points claculation as long as $30 each time is spent.

ie
A spend of $31, $42 and $33 earns 76 points and not just 16 points.

Woolworths staff discount cards get 5% off purchases and a 4c per litre discount at the pump. Hence staff have never been issued with fuel coupons (or electronic fuel discounts on EDR cards).

Given your information it is possible that staff earn points on the entire purchase for this reason?? Does anyone here work for Woollies to confirm?

Based on published T&C and marketing materials the transactions you have suggested would yield 3 fuel discounts and 16 QFF points.

EDIT:garee just beat me to it...

OTOH it does seem a rather easy way to keep the QF account active while posting almost everything to AA :rolleyes:

But then I have been known to wander aimlessly

Woolworths staff earn QF FF points on the total purchase amount before discount, then less $30.
Example. Total purchase is $96, minus $30 =$66.
Staff member earns 66 QF FF points.

However the staff member then receives the 5% discount on $96 and only pays $91.20.

Every time a staff member spends more than $30 a Fuel Saver Discount is added to their Staff card. They don't need it, as the Staff Card entitles them to a 4c per litre discount at Woolworths/Caltex servos.
Reason for this is if when leave the company, the Staff Card has to be surrendered. Any unused Fuel Saver rewards can be transferred to an Everydayrewards card.

Don't know where you read that all purchases on the one day contribute to a single points calculation as long as $30 each time is spent.

you will only earn 16 QF FF points.

Nowhere..for that is not what I stated.

I am reporting what has been awarded to some staff....and not on T&C that have been made available anywhere.

...and as I stated it may just be a bug in their software.

But at least some staff have had it occur....whether it keeps posting that way who knows. But I for one will check early on to see if it is the case.

Cheers

I'd hope they'd stretch it out over a whole week, though that's wishful thinking eh! Would certainly maximise the points for me if that were the case, even over the course of a day, although they'd have to incorporate more stores.

And where was it posted that staff earned these points?
I found nothing on this thread.

As he stated in his original post, it was in another forum:

Ok I do actually work for these guys and I can tell you I spent $45 on 2/6 and received 15 points, not 45. You need to do larger single transactions to maximise points rather than multiple small ones. The points posted to my QFF account about a day after posting to everydayrewards.

I also made a large transaction in liquor the other day which hasn't posted points at all, hopefully just the weekend slowing it down. I spend a lot in liquor :p

Maybe a bug but note that Flybuys awards points on the total of purchases on a single day when determining is the spend threshold has been passed. Maybe not a bug, maybe woolies are just copying the competition?

If you make a purchase of over $30 and then another smaller purchase later in the day, could you check if you get the smaller purchase added on or not. Thanks.

I paid for QFF membership for my sons (3 & 5) a year ago (I paid 82.50 each for them and joined up my sister, mother and father as presents with flights as gifts as well, omg, I wish this came in earlier!) to get them earning and to transfer my points so they get free flights, I have an 8 month old son, think they'll let him get the free QFF on a 30 plus dollar spend, he buys a lot of nappies :)

Haha alot of nappies eh? He'd be racking up those flights in no time ;)

I noted from a few pages back, that the thinking was, that linked EDR cards will not collect QFF points ?? ( I didn't note a final outcome... )

Eg. six family members each have an EDR card, but all EDR cards are linked to the one QFF account number.

I just reviewed by linked EDR cards ( only two at present ), and I linked my QFF Member number to my primary EDR card. Upon checking my wife's EDR card, my QFF number is linked to her EDR card number.

( sorry if this has already been worked over, I must have missed it )

That doesn't seem right and doesn't match my experience. I linked my QFF number to my EDR card and then linked the wife's EDR card to y account. Then when going into her account there was no QFF number listed as being linked to her EDR card. Hence I then linked her QFF number to her EDR card.

In my experience, my QFF# is linked to my EDR card. My mums EDR card is listed as an additional in my account. When I log into my mums EDR account. it lists her as an additional, and has her QFF# linked, mine is not listed.

Per the FAQ. this seems to be the way it was intended to work. I don't know why your account isn't the same.

More confusion to come, I guess !!

You can have multiple EDR cards linked to a ' Primary ' EDR card holder. Any secondary card holder will earn 4 cent ( and others ) discounts that any additional secondary, and the primary card holder will be able to access.

If you can do this with the fuel discounts, why wouldn't the same apply with the linkage of QFF account number to the Primary EDR card holder ??

Eg. Primary EDR card holder has linked QFF account No. XYZ
Secondary EDR card holders 1 - 5 are linked to Primary EDR card
Logging onto any of the secondary card accounts will show only one
QFF No. which would be No. XYZ ( in this case )
