Received the SCs four weeks after the first eligible spend (on the 1st statement). Blind luck I got the card just before Fast Track started!
It's been years since I have done anything at all on QF other than accumulate points....was the activity date for the SCs the date they were received in to your QFF account?

Yep! The SCs were received into my QFF account four weeks later.

FYI All - I just checked my QFF account and it is now showing as 400 SCs -> 300 SCs from QFF Status Credit Boost, and 100 SCs rollover from Points Club Plus.

Would be interested to see for those who complete the QFF Fast Track this year whether they maintain their Gold Status until Dec 2022 :)

Great.

I replied to request for card photo yesterday and got a reply this morning confirming my preferred start date on 11 March. Will apply for the Qantas Premier Platinum in mid-Feb prior to the offer expiring on 24th for the 75SC.

So the 75SC from Qantas Premier credit card count towards the fast track but it says the bonus SC does not contribute to Qantas status accelerator.

The T&Cs of the Fast Track say you receive Gold for "at least" 12 months, which presumably means the remainder of your current membership year through to the end of your NEXT membership year, whatever that may be given Qantas doesn't just go by calendar year. That makes sense; I can't imagine Qantas suddenly resetting people's qualifying period or turning off status partway through to limit it to strictly 12 months.

So if you'd signed up for a new QFF account on December 1 and earn 100 SCs within 3 months, presumably you would have Gold status locked in until end November 2022. For existing accounts, it's a bit of a luck of the draw of when your reset date is.

My situation will be interesting. My membership period resets June 1 each year. I've set my Fast Track challenge period to be 25 March ~ 25 June 2021. I won't cross the 100 SC threshold until after June 1, so I'll be curious to see how they manage situations like this where the SCs earned for Fast Track are split across what would otherwise be two qualifying years.

Based on above, it could mean I'd have Gold locked in until end May 2023, unless they are going to reset the membership year or suspend benefits partway through my next one. That seems pretty wild, though it would also mean I could then start chasing Platinum which I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Yes, my reset date is 31 Dec and I was originally hoping to cross it in early 2021...

... What I didn’t expect is for the 75SC from the Premier Card to come so quickly, and to count towards Fast Track. Not too worried though as the Status Boost should help this year!

Could Qantas be applying a more lenient rule regarding SCs to the Fast Track vs their standard Status Accelerator?

The status accelerator is different. They specifically mention in the FAQ that almost everything counts.

Are there any types of Status Credits that won’t count towards my goal?
Most types of Status Credits earned within the 90 day period will contribute to the Qantas Status Fast Track, including those earned in the air and on the ground. However, Status Credits earned from Loyalty Bonus, rollover Status Credits and any gifted Status Credits will not count toward your 100 Status Credit goal.

My wife and I both applied as VA plat members for status match.
I had to give 3 years of activity statements but was approved to start my run. Wife however hasn't heard anything despite numerous extra emails. Certainly cant be bothered ringing as wait times are ridiculous. Think I'll nominate a start date for both of us and assume she's eligible.

Just sent PDF copy of my current platinum Velocity card June21(just got it-never got renewal one so had to order) in reply to their email of 18 Dec. It was EITHER card OR screen shot of activity in their email. Card far easier. They wanted dates but havn't nominated dates yet with them as in WA and who knows what will happen but probably go to latest allowed dates and apply for a credit card and fly Darwin return. If possible.
Virgin say my Platinum status will be til June22. I have an email confirmation of this.

Got quick reply back. Card copy as requested wasn't enough .....WTF!
Had to send them the screen shot record of activity, but sent them a PDF one provided by Virgin. Waiting again.

Wow, they are very inconsistent. As mentioned previously, I sent a copy of my VA WP card one evening (no activity statement required) and received confirmation the next morning.

It does not. Guessing this means it hasn't been activated?

Would appear to be the case. Probably worth just following up with qff to get it activated.
I started my period on Jan 5, Next flight with QF was Jan 7, no indication on the Qantas app that I had QC until morning of the 7th at the lounge after I checked in on the 6th.

Didn't hear back from QF for a while after submitting my digital card. Called in and was advised that I was already approved the day after I sent in my card. The consultant said the fast track team should be calling me with a welcome call. I thought it was a bit odd that there was no communication between 20 Dec until now...

So, I still don't have any written evidence. The consultant said it should be visible on the activity list (or it was visible to him, I see nothing). Anyone have any method of checking?

I applied on November 26 and heard nothing. I emailed ten days later to follow up and a week after that I received a request for my documentation which I sent.

I heard nothing since from QF but decided to check the email they sent. This was at the end of it..

Important Information
The personal details on the documentation required will need to match those in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. Your data will be collected for the purpose of registering in the Qantas Status Fast Track program and it will not be retained for longer than 30 days.

From reading the experiences of others here who had immediately been told of their success in the status match I emailed again to ask if I had been successful or not as I have flight bookings to make. About ten minutes later received an email which basically said "don't contact us, we'll contact you."

Just booked another two flights with VA and did so quite happily.

Well, I just called in again to request written evidence. I believe I got routed to the Philippines call center. Got an amazing agent who was super knowledgeable and was able to provide me with the email confirmation immediately.

Very happy camper

I'm sure QF is watching this thread.

After posting my experience here this morning I have received an email confirming my acceptance to the fast track.
