Would an A380 have the range to do MEL-DFW?
I'd have thought not with an economic payload (but maybe yes with light load).

I find the angle is slightly too much. I tend to slide down the bed, which is disconcerting. What is wrong with Skybed mark 1?
That is all I have ever flown and in my opinion it is quite good.

I just made a booking that includes a return to Brisbane from DFW. Now I have to route DFW-SYD <terminal transfer> SYD-BNE. At least I was able to snag 80ABC for us (10yo will have to cope with the B seat).
Of course the best part is that it only cost 112,500 miles and US$119.70 in total for three passengers (one-way MCO-DFW-SYD-BNE)

Thanks. Not even a 10% safety margin so I guess it would be unlikely.MEL-DFW: 14,472 km
Airbus quoted A380 range: 15,700 km
In theory, yes. Would depend on load and wind.

I suppose it would have no problem flying east. However, gliding might be invovled coming back - or they can stop in BNE?Thanks. Not even a 10% safety margin so I guess it would be unlikely.
QF taxes for the BNE-MCO-BNE return award would have been $891.61 per person. With AA, it was US$139.50 per person.Out of curiosity, what would you supply the taxes would have been if you'd booked with QF?
