Now I've just got to work out how to catch that from London. They don't seem to stream it unfortunately.

I wonder if they post if afterwards though? If not I will have a copy, PM me and I can get it to you.

Cheers,

Nick

Would be great if anyone with a PC Tuner/recorder could cap this and upload to YouTube or another host :)

Will have a youtube link shortly :)

Looks good, recording now...

Edit: Amazing footage of the damage to that plane...!

A very pro-QF piece (rightly so) and some touching moments with the pilots and family.

I recall when I started this thread that I and others thought the worst and how the reporting was so wrong from early on.

Fair predictable story in the end- considering it was only a 10 minute segment, they were never going to get more into the issue such as discussing the engine and even interviewing more people.

9 really could have shown the examples that showed how wrong the media got it........

Shame they didn't mention what is actually happening to the bird in relation to repairs/write off???

Great story, great Qantas advert, surprised the plane was flying around for so long before landing.

Interesting the pilot was in the air force, seems like that is a good training ground for pilots.

Thanks heaps for uploading shintaro10x, just watched your youtube link and thought it was a good story given the short time it occupied (I was out earlier and forgot to record it ).

Thanks to the uploader.

A surprisingly factual and well done segment.
