Once you get your last 3.68% (to LTG) you might as well credit elsewhere on a just-in-case basis.
I didn't think Velocity SC accrued towards lifetime anything?

I'm not suggesting it does. I'm just saying once you have LTG with QF, grabbing some VA SCs without even changing your shopping pattern is a no brainer in terms of giving you options.I didn't think Velocity SC accrued towards lifetime anything?
Yes, just like the EY "Tier Miles" I have earned thru Flybuys, over 2K - need 25000 for base elite without crediting a single flight to EY- unlikely to happen in time and in any case my Velocity WP has more pull on EY.I agree.
I'll take whatever points and SC I can from anywhere, I'm happy to do so. The current earn rates are not something that will drive my spend to Coles.
Not terribly exciting is it?
Install priority check-out lanes at Coles for VA Platinums, and then we're talking!

Don't know if this is going to work.....I have a feeling the "household" is the account holder so everyone living at that address has to be linked, though a look through the terms and conditions I have not been able to locate this.
For Velocity Family pooling you must reside at the same address - therefore the "household" and family pooling would be from the one flybuy account.
Would love to be wrong about this however they will be exchanging information with each other and would be very easy to locate people using this loop hole and as Velocity has shown recently - investigate and close down accounts.
Everything I've seen is coughulative but I dont think you can 'carry over' spend from one month to the nextCan anyone confirm that the SCs awarded will be based on coughulative spend over the month? Eg: transactions of $50 + $50 + $50 + 50 would earn 2 SCs? Or do the individual transactions have to be >$100 to earn an SC?
Thanks
That's correct. There's no requirement for individual transactions to be over $100. At the end of each month we'll simply add up the combined eligible spend across the qualifying brands. (Eligible spend means we exclude tobacco and gift card purchases, and charitable donations). You'll then be credited one Status Credit per $100 of combined spend, to a maximum of 10 per month. The calculation is reset each month, so there's no "carry over" from the previous month.Everything I've seen is coughulative but I dont think you can 'carry over' spend from one month to the next
Hey , I don't think you can reload it with a MasterCard credit card ? I read the terms and conditions and it says MasterCard debit card . Unless you are currently doing it , then this seems like an awesome idea !I thought the 2 Fly Buys points per $1 on Coles Reloadable mastercard was pretty good, especially since you can load it with a Mastercard (I have CBA Diamond MC).
= 1.125 per $1 spent
anyone know how this will work with family pooling? If there were two separate fly buys accounts each to a separate velocity account, and the two velocity accounts were family linked together using family pooling, would the status credits pool across?

TBH, a max of 120 SC per year is not going to make a big dent; moreover I suspect generally predictableThe status is great but if people are not flying and amassing status won't it complicate airline data/stats flight predictability?
