Nicely done Princess Fiona, especially in catching the BA tail before it disappeared. Unfortunately, you were beaten to the punch by yohy?! a few days ago on [post=410894]this post[/post].

Ah well it's still a nice action shot ;) I could also see a Skyteam 747 at LAX later that evening on the bus journey to TBIT but it was pitch black and my phone was safely tucked away, maybe next time.

41. Boarding pass for a flight where the IATA code for the airline contains a number (no codeshares).

Well done kpc! That's a find! They don't do much about BPs on that airline you flew, it seems.

Hope you had a lot of fun in South America - that's somewhere on my cards this year hopefully... (currently thinking Easter Island and the Ushuaia.)

Week #4 has started

Week #4 has started, and as of this post the update for post #3 has been sent for updating.

5 items were found last week; now there are 16 items left to be found. The list in post #3 is starting to look more like a typewriter's correctional nightmare.

Nothing has been found this week yet - remember, if nothing is found before the week is up, a random remaining item will be purged from the list, and 15 points will be deducted (in addition to attrition).

The find cap is also being raised next week to 7 items, however no one has broken the new cap yet. Great to see an influx of new members joining the hunt all the time!

Only 1 item was found last week; now there are 15 items left to be found. Luckily the find last week was from a new finder, so with attrition penalty the score has only regressed by 1 point.

Remember, if nothing is found before the week is up, a random remaining item will be purged from the list, and 15 points will be deducted (in addition to attrition). The list is looking shorter and much tougher, I must say!

Surely we can get #13 and #21 based on previous threads here (Centurion card and photo in "rogue" DJ a/c.)

I thought they'd be two of the first to go. As for #48 (Three rambutan), I spent a good part of Sunday looking for them only to find out they're out of season until October. :(

I agree.
I know of one AFF member who's partner has a Centurion CC, so it can't be that hard. Either that or they aren't aware of the AFF Scavenger Hunt.

That's going to make it difficult.

Do frozen ones count? Can you actually freeze rambutan? Why would you want to freeze rambutan?

Who knows, but it wouldn't matter to me. After my fruitless expedition, I'd take them fossilized. :)

Well getting towards the end of the week. Do we have a find this week? Can we have a ruling on the rumbutans?

Just I don't want to lose any items as I have a cunning plan......
