Easiest way is to use Mileage Monkey and put your route into the Oneworld planner and select "ignore errors" it will give you the mileage and SCs for whY, J and F - not Y+ and whY is I think Disc Y rather than full fare.

I saw it and would love to use it but it's purely QF ATM... Would love to have VA in it.

I'm just about to book a status run but want to be sure I'm doing it correct.

i book on aa.com
enter qff #
select instant upgrade
then pay

To revive the JohnSydney2000 riddles: I am looking at fares from the city of angels to a small cricket-playing country which gained independence the same year as Australia adopted decimal currency.

Fares were actually even cheaper on my dates a few weeks ago, but I hesitated... You snooze, you lose.

typo - although interestingly, where is the city of angles?
Thanks. Thats what I was trying to work out. Was it a cryptic clue for some city with weird architecture or the like. Much simpler now.

If you're looking at status runs involving a certain popular status run destination in LOTFAP, you might be interested in this.

I did some research on status runs recently, and found some one-way fares (that can be reversed) that give 300 SCs for just under AU$300 (aided by the strong Aussie dollar at the moment). Less than $1/SC is the best I've ever seen for YUPP/KUPP type fares on AA; however, the fare basis for these is something I haven't seen before: MCE4UPZ1.

Happy hunting!

I'm just about to head in that direction. But would probably take me the whole trip to figure out the route! :) Is the destination actually IN the LOTFAP, or "associated with"? Just a little hint would be great?

There's no border crossing requiring passport control or immigration, if that helps. ;)

It's a great find, TimB. Well done. And good luck to those who can both solve the riddle and take advantage of it! :)
