While we are talking about weight, I've been away in Europe for over 6 weeks, and a combination of gastro and then (mild) pneumonia has meant I lost about 10kgs. It hasn't stopped me from doing exactly what I set out to do, and am now having a beer at Stresa, on the shore of Lake Maggiore. My theory is that the beer will help kill the infection, and put on weight. I'm right, no?

Good effort! My parents are off on a 2 week cruise I'm guessing they're going to put on stacks of weight as they like to get their money's worth
