I always thought so, just thought it wasn't my family. ;) :p

Every family I know has issues. Be they health, money, ageing, personality etc etc. comes with the territory. What is on the surface isn't necessarily what's happening within.

Mr brother was telling me one response a friend made. As soon as they heard that tell tale wait after answering, they answered with 'Detective Brown here and this is a murder crime scene. ' Then muffled said, No Sergeant move the chalk line there. Then came back to the phone and said that their phone call to the deceased was now considered as evidence to a murder and would be recorded. The guy hung up.

I don't think they've had a call since.
Ha ha ha ha. I'm still laughing. I hope I get a call in the next few days and so can use that line!

It was a beautiful day today but I'm happy that I didn't get outside much as I managed to watch Les Misérables (movie) and it was superb. Eddie Redmayne making Gingers' cool
Wish I'd gone to see it in the cinema, can't wait for The Great Gatsby which I will definitely go to see on the big screen. Think it should be Gold Class 3D

It took me ages to watch this movie. If I was feeling upbeat, I didn't want to watch a movie that would make me sad. If I was a little down then I knew it would make it worse. When I was finally feeling 'neutral' and fortified with a bottle of white, and home alone I watched it. I found it exhausting anyway and finished in tears. Hugh Jackman was simply brilliant. How he did not get the Oscar is simoly bad esp when the winning actor played Lincoln in a movie that was so boring I stopped watching after 20 minutes.

Would prefer watching Hugh Jackman topless in any film whatsoever......*sigh*

Trying to use a Samsung series 9 computer with a trackpad but mouse click automatically happens when you hover over something.

Impossible....

Sounds like one of the symptoms usually related to the tap-to-click ability.

When I get a new computer, I always turn that feature off. Can't live with it - I end up dragging something where it shouldn't be.

I find that the newer computers are getting much, much more sensitive to tap-to-click.

If you can disable it using the computer settings, I usually would do it. If not, I guess you just have to learn how to roll with it. Or, use as many keyboard shortcuts as possible.

I felt the same way regarding the timing of watching it.
I did however love Lincoln, but that may have been due to an excess of Taittinger Comtes De Champagne at 36000 ft

Learning to roll with it for 5-10 minutes is not that easy. Well not for me anyway. Hope this does not become the standard.

You could do worse. Try using a non-US based keyboard. Or a Linux configured custom browser.

I'd also list non-English interfaces, but luckily you can infer those (e.g. due to icons, layout).

It's becoming a standard alright - for some reason, many people have gotten used to tap-to-click. I can use it, but I don't like it. It takes quite a bit of finesse. One reason why sometimes using your own system is a better idea, but not a practical solution for some.

I think I could enjoy any movie doing just that. :) You must watch Lincoln at home without the alcoholic intervention. No, maybe not. It's 15 minutes of your life you won't get back.

For the first time in my life today I boarded first, and I had a massive amount of hand luggage, way over what is allowed. I've never done it before, but didn't have a choice today. Worst thing is it kinda feels good. -5 Karma points for me today.

Sometimes it just feels good to be bad! :)

And sometimes it feels good to just do what everyone else does anyway and not feel guilty!

We moved to the other side of the world, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that ;)

A month or two ago, if either of us had a job offer OS, we would've gone in a heartbeat! Probably still would, but it's all a bit calmer now. I think. :P
