Anyone seen Mr DYKWIA?

No sign of him recently.

I wonder if someone finally KWHW and he's disappeared?

Just heard in the QP an announcement that they are aware of wifi issues, it's an Australia-wide issue.

Glad I have LTE to fall back on :)

SWMBO has a quick trip to MEL-ADL for work. She's asked me to look at flights, TT487 (ADL-MEL) on 12/5 seems a bit pricey at $12,995

And look, your sector Adl-Mel will be in economy.

Not pricing up like that for me... Perhaps someone has already bagged the deal. (And wouldn't it be a LOL to confuse Jetstar by asking for a price match :) )

Hrrm,

The quote was from Webjet (I use it as a gauge for pricing). I've re-checked and it has reverted to a more typical price.

Anywho I've booked with QF, I'll be danged if she flies TT.

Some hotels and me are just not meant to get along together, thought I would give the hotel a second chance, after a cold breakfast, having 8 different people knock on the door for various reasons but mainly to see if I had checked out, I am now waiting in the lounge for my laundry to be returned, and yes, it's past checkout time. At least the lounge has decent coffee and Wifi, but compared to other options in KL, the IC leaves a lot to be desired.

There must be two ICs in KL. munitalP was there Friday, Saturday and Sunday and reported a hot breakfast, great laundry service and an exceptional upgrade

Maybe my fault for trying to have breakfast at 6 AM ;), and yes the laundry was good, when I got it. My stays have been consistent with the experiences reported on FT for the IC KL, pretty pp compared to the opposition in town, and they are hardly a price leader. KL is SPG for me moving forward, while Gold Coast is the opposite, Cest la vie.

Just got an e mail from VA and saying they are about to give me 400 VA points from a purchase from November

Interesting that two people, seemingly staying in the same hotel at the same time, give opposite accounts of the hotel!
