It means that he won't be posting on AFF anymore.

Extremely sad really if you get to know the bloke....

That's not good. I hope all is Ok!

I really enjoyed reading the TR's of their adventures (oz_mark and MunitalP) ......come to think of it - I haven't seen Mp on here for ages:(

There was a SYD dinner recently. There is also the end of year function.

I struggle to get away on the weekends (weekly commuter) due to family commitments. Have attended two AFF functions, 787 inspection:cool: and AFF dinner on the SunnyCoast - both very enjoyable.

I'm going to miss the x-mas functions as we'll be enjoying a holiday in LOTFAP.

I have tried in the past and have been unsuccessful. I hope you defy the odds!
I must be really important.

Got to the gate towards end of boarding and mentioned to FAs this is now a 4:00pm+ departure. Sort of understood my point. ;)

Boarded and mentioned to CSM this is now a 4:00pm+ departure and along with FAs at gate we have made an executive decision that all alcohol is complimentary in economy. ;) She looked at me but at least I made her smile.

A few minutes later an announcement from captain and he mentioned that alcohol in economy is now complimentary as it is a 4:00pm+ flight. :p

Indeed. Hope all is ok even if it is a "person decision".

Evening, another weekend back east, some people can't understand the enjoyment in flying a metal tube at 40,000 feet, easier when it's in business class.

I am meant to be going for a run tomorrow but the temptation is their to just sleep in.

I will see how I feel tomorrow at 4:30am(2:30am) Perth time.

I have just passed up another drink of alcohol I think the 3rd for the afternoon, maybe I am really sick and its not some man flu.

When the original post was made, well over a month ago, I soon right after the OP asked who was leaving. I guess it's been answered now.
Is there something going on we don't know about? Seems a few of the good old stalwarts are dropping by the wayside. A great pity I say

Indeed. Politics really. They are still about... Just not posting here but posting somewhere else. There is a lot of back story to it.

I saw that post when it was made.

At the time I thought nothing of it. It now sort of makes sense.

It's a sad life when I eagerly anticipate a sleep in tomorrow. Burnt toast, or undercooked pancakes to follow

And for me.. it feels kind of strange to be spending Fathers day with my father for the first time in a few years. Nice timing and appreciated I'm sure as his father just passed a week ago.

Sad that 2 posters who have contributed a lot to AFF over the years are not active here anymore.....I still keep in touch with them off site tho.
