Heading in to the city on a train that going past Caulfield Railway station.

Starting to haze up with the waft of many different perfumes.

The train is chockers with Cup goers, many two legged fillies (and mares) dolled up in varying levels of tizzyness.

Quite a sight. ;)

(Noisy too ... )

Amn to that Bro' ...

I'll be coming back through the city from the airport around 8:30 - I may see some examples.

They all disembarked 10 minutes ago and 'twas quite a parade- a lot of the attire required a varying amount of hollywood tape- I hope for their sake it holds as it is quite warm and VERY windy today.

Peak hour, the train wins hands down. But it also helps if you're HLO.

If where you are going is near a train station then trains are the way to go.
If you need to travel a fair distance from the station then other options need to be considered.

I considered it Jess, but as it is I won't be home 'til 10 and I want to be up at 5am for golf tomorrow.

(Not as young as I used to be :-|)

When I'm returning home into SYD after a flight & I have luggage, I always make sure that I'm not traveling on the train in the peak hours in the busy direction.

It's funny that in this case, we could be talking about someone spending some serious coin on transport from Sydney airport yet on another thread, people are talking about what they can do to save $10 to get from the airport to the city.

I thought "There must be an app for that!" and have heard some of my female friends talking about Skirt Alerts.

So what do you know - there IS an app for that in the iOS universe!

It was nice of someone to send me a letter from Launceston. Too bad it was supposed to go to someone else in Launceston.

Person/s unknown at Australia Post confused the postcodes of Launceston & South Penrith. Right mailbox, wrong postcode & wrong state.

My London flat feels safer when this band is on tour in Australia.

I feel more secure when the band is in Australia!

Although we live in the Northside where the Brisbane Entertainment Centre is located, we are thankfully far enough from the scene of the action so we're pretty indifferent from all the hubbub.
