Well the Aussies snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Pakistan in the T20 last night.

Disappointing - but a great innings from Maxwell which should have set them up for victory.

Credit to Pakistan who didn't panic when undoubtedly they could have done so. Set up by Umar Akmal also with a great innings.

We had 30% loading in WhY last weekend on QF10. (i.e.1 pax/seat block)

I had 4 seats to myself for both legs :-)

It was maybe 40% on QF9 on the way over 2 weeks before.

I had 3 seats to myself on the DXB leg. :-)

I see their financial issues now... Though then again, so long as they have decent cargo underneath it might not be all bad, just depends if that cargo is recorded against the cargo division or not :p

An A380 has a comparitively poor cargo capability.

It's really sad that so many people go there to just get drunk and pay people for sex.

Ah yes. The lowlifes.

How sad. They should stay home and shack up with an overweight lazy slob with 3 kids to 4 different fathers who is domineering and regularly drunk.

There are many examples this lately.

I saw that often recently. For the same 600ml(ish) bottle of Pepsi in the US in a somewhere like a 7/11, it is around $1.50 - $3 USD. The other night in a 7/11 in western Sydney, it was $4.10 AUD.

Part of the problem in Australia is the cost of wages, so it is not surprising how expensive that bottle of Pepsi/coke is.

And with this change in junior wage rates will see some prices increase even more.

Just received an email from Chris Gonera - jeez imagine the flack that poor person received going through high school!

I think I can claim the record for the first flu of the season.

Am just over the bones hurting stage with a very sore throat and headaches.
Hvr I have 2 very good friends who have had it for a week - both say worst flu they have ever had.

Touch wood but I have been in / out China 3 times last 6 weeks - invariably I come home with a lurgie but clean bill all 3 visits.

Standard Lipton ice tea in Portugal was typically ~€0.80 two weeks ago. Coke in the range €0.70-0.90.

Must get my flu vac asap. They're compulsory at work this year unless you fill in paperwork stating why you don't agree to have it.

Yesterday, my butcher talked me into a lamb shoulder on the bone - I'm glad I took his advice

Ready to go. A little olive oil, garlic and rosemary
You're kidding on the rosemary, surely :o

Beautiful! BTW - Squealing Pig Sav Blanc during the cooking phase and John Duval Shiraz for the eating phase...
Love it :D. I presume you drank both bottles yourself ;)

Similar to my beer for the cook (barbie). Whatever I don't finish is used in the cleaning process...

Oops, temporary fix to the condenser of new airconditioner has failed (well, it was only silver tape across the seals that should have had sealant applied when installed, but a total lack of attention to detail there).

The maintenance guy was meant to return with the sealant, but never showed. Looks like he'll show tomorrow after we fired off a choicely worded email to the building manager. :D

Lucky we were still here so the water didn't cause damage to the carpets.

Time to turn off the lights and go home.

Simple. She slept with 2 different guys from the pub on the night she got pregnant.

And no I am not joking....

Something I read earlier today-

A client told my son in law that she doesn't know the fathers name but reckons she could recognise him if she saw him down the pub again
