Mum and dad should have gone into the restaurant business years ago.

We dont eat meat all the time. Mum is very strict in observing fasting days and will cook accordingly

:(

Sounds delicious, and quite different.
Does Greece have regional cuisine?
What do you mean by fasting days?

We are Greek Orthodox. Mum fasts at Easter, August and Christmas so no meat, egg, milk, cheese etc. And then every Wednesday and Friday are also non meat days and she does not eat meat on most of those days as well.

I'd have thought they wouldn't meet Aus noise regulations - unless it's been re-engined??

Its a super seventy - using four of the CFM engines found on 737s and A320s - CFM56

Just saw a guy begging for money on George St. He was wearing a QF pyjama, so ironic...

Train derailment at ORD station early Monday morning US time. I was there a few weeks ago. This can't be good - around 30 people injured.

Very polite of the train to use the stairs and not block the escalator

- Lentil soup
- Bean soup with dark green cabbage. Some people may refer to this as Chinese cabbage. It is the type that does not wrap around
- Vegetarian casserole type dishes predominantly with capsicum, eggplant, potatoes etc
- Leek with rice, spinach with rice, cabbage and rice
- Spinach pies, cheese pies in various shapes and sizes
- Koulouria in various shapes and sizes (greek cookies is the closest translation)
- pasta and instead of making some sort of meat sauce she makes a sauce with 4 bean mix and some other vegetables
- Boiled potato, mashed and then fried with chopped onion (one of my all time favourites and one I have tried to reproduce many times without success)

What am I doing in Brisbane? I should go back home to Sydney where I belong. :(

Sounds great John.

Make me a booking for 7pm

+1 :p

Does this restaurant do the free citibank wine offer?

Something I read earlier today-

Sounds feasible...and I just bought an App that will make my iPhone waterproof...

I'm in the Sydney qantas club looking like a retard trying to read "the Australian". Does the editor think we all have wing spans of an albatross? If anyone has a contact there, tell them to re think the layout for an average sized person.

I agree...I absolutely hate broadsheet newspapers, they are a total PITA

Being able to fold a broadsheet paper so that one can read it in public without encroaching on other people's space is an art form
