There have been a few posts that actually say it was posted from a mobile device

I believe the "posted from mobile" message is auto-tacked-on when you use mobile mode; it doesn't use weird code to find out the operating device, system or browser.

What's the  for? Are you suggesting I was never at work :p:?:

I don't think I could navigate the forums much on my iPod. The mobile interface isn't that amazing. I think I'll stick to my laptop in the future.

I've noticed that my iphone puts 'sent from my iphone' at the end of emails I send..

How does one get to the "mobile mode"?

That can be changed to whatever you like, it's just a signature.

Open Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > (scroll down a little) Signature > (keep it or change it).

Well gone for a few days and i have no idea what any body is talking about.
just read this-
US tourist kills wife in road rule mix-up | The Courier-Mail
The prosecutor wants to jail the fellow-hasnt he suffered enough?
posted from my trusty laptop in beautiful but wet downtown san Antonio.

Well...maybe not three years. Or no jail but a significant fine - at least the medical expenses of the others affected plus license suspension.

I know he's lost his wife but I don't think that's enough circumstances for full dismissal. He's lucky he didn't "kill" anyone else.

An interesting thing about what not much is said, is that the most common cause of death for an international tourist in Australia is a road death, and the most common problems are disorientaion (wrong side of road), fatigue and not wearing seatbelts.

I imagine that in this case the calculation of an appropriate penalty is a bit tricky, but I am sure I have read about similar cases before.

And let me add that you haven't missed anything worth missing.
posted from my work desktop with a brand new 22" screen

And having read the first 3 pages of new posts I realise I need to post a bit to catch up!

well my most embarassing flight ever yesterday.. I have been suffering with food poisoning the last few days and went from mco- dfw - I managed to barely make it off the plane. Went and layed down in the admirals club and they kindly shifted my dfw- lax flight for a few hours.

I got on the flight, could barely walk, was in the bathroom as soon as the seat belt light dinged off and somehow threw up all over the place. I pressed the attendant call button and explained what happened. They had to u/s the bathroom and this caused problems with people trying to use the J room until they drew the curtain.

Everyone was watching me after that one ...

The AC Aangels certainly often go out of their way to help.Thank goodness i am not back in DFW until sunday.
Hope you feel better soon.

I hope the mess in DFW is cleaned up by August otherwise I will be really upset. ;)

Hope you are feeling better now....

Thanks. A bit better now. I felt esp bad because you can't queue at the loo on American planes so people were v annoyed.

Not much joy being bedridden in foreign hotel rooms while you should be enjoying a holiday.

Hope you make a full recovery soon.

The semi-bad part of having food poisoning overseas rather than at home is that hotel rooms aren't necessarily the most comfortable place to convalesce after getting over the episode, what with temperature control, air conditioning, etc. etc.

Take it easy, hope you can enjoy the rest of your holiday.
