To answer the question: I think being blocked would be of greater significance. SWMBO and I often discuss the negatives of being friends. Such as having some of her family members (teenage cousins) send me friend requests that are inappropriate. Having some of my family members friend request her.

Interesting take on it. I can certainly see the logic behind it. I know why it was done now (it's now rectified) so all is well that ends well, or something like that. Time will tell.
