Anna Bligh was on B105 this morning at 0755 - apparently Dams are now over 70% - that a 10% rise in less than a week!
Official stats show as 72.02% as at 8:19am today.

North Pine is at 100%, Summerset is over 106% and Wievenhoe cracked 55%. And teh outflow from Summerset will go directly into Wievenhoe.

cheers Chris!

I've been approved for the UK work visa I was chasing, so very likely I'll be leaving Australia in about a month thereabouts.

I've now got way too much to sort out... Aaah the joys of packing up!

I take it that means you already have a job lined up? and... congratulations!

Nah don't yet. Have been keeping an eye on things, but without being there, getting a job is pretty tough.

But I have good industry contacts in the UK, some in demand skill-sets and can support myself for quite a while if required.

Just need a change of scenery really.

Head you loud and clear! Was considering the same thing earlier this year, but not too sure now given the current situation.

Thanks for the update.

So the 10 June 2009 we will be saying goodbye, farewell drinks.

Yeah, that's one reason it was brought forward a week this time...

Nothing is defintate until I leave, but it should be the last catchup I have in Brisbane for a while.

I can handle (and actually prefer) QF. I can also handle Qantas. I don't mind QAN (esp. when it's a share market related post), and, at a stretch, I can even tolerate Quantas, as ways of referring to Qantas.

But I loathe and detest (if it's possible to do both) the use of just Q to denote Qantas...as sometimes occurs on this board.

No logical basis for those feelings, but there you have it. Anybody else have (quite possibly irrational) dislikes like this? (I hope so, I'm gonna feel a right plonker otherwise)!

Raging apathy on that score I'm afraid. The only one that worries me overly much is the "Quantas" reference, but then bad spelling annoys me generally

Oooh yeah - I'm hearing ya! What especially irks me is Quantas. Its an acronym for crying out loud! What does the U stand for??? Unadultterated? Uniform? Unparralelled?
