A special thank you to the 85 year old for sending me the You Tube clip "How to have sex on a airplane". Tommy you are dreaming!

Speak for yourself . Where was that link please Cove? :D:mrgreen:

I thought I would drive you all crazy by leaving that out! I will try to get it onto this thread via a young married.

JohnM I see you found it. Funny thing is it came from an 85 year old so I guess we never stop thinking about it every 4 seconds while we are breathing.

The GHUXY one which is close to the top in Google but I left you all enough time to look at them all!

Watch China's stock market. Greece is human tragedy. The U.S. is on a holiday break.

When we went to Broome the wind blew like crazy so we preferred Exmouth with Turquoise Bay.

I heard or read a reference to a David Noble over the past few days. No idea what it was about, but it jogged my memory to ask - whatever happened to AFF's Dave Noble?

Did I miss something in Broome?

An awfully expensive place for very little in return.

You didn't, IMO. Certainly the weather is very pleasant in mid-winter compared with further S but that's about the best that it offers. Cable beach is very ordinary for swimming and no surf.

I guess most people go to Cable Beach Resort or similar and lie around the pool in the pleasant weather but that scene is far too boring for me. BME is a good place to stop in briefly on the way to somewhere more interesting in the region IMO.

Adelaide Crows Coach was killed by his son on Friday morning. Probably the worst day for AFL in history.
I was at the Essendon-St Kilda match this afternoon: it was moving how once again an AFL crowd of 38,000 people can stand in dead silence for a minute to honour the memory of Phil Walsh. There was no prompting, the crowd just fell silent, caps and hats removed, as the two teams linked arms in a circle in the centre of the ground.

Hi all,

Not sure where to put this request........
I have a friend going to Kyoto and I want them to pickup a pre-ordered\paid tablet.
I am after someone that knows Kyoto and can help me purchase the laptop from here, so they can pick it up.
The website is hard to read even after translate.
Anyone?

You must be a St Kilda fan then, as the majority of the Essendon fans had gone home, unable to continue watching the rout.

Glad I backed St Kilda

Greece..... Yes/No/rigged?

A country where the social fabric has been coming apart for many years - way before the GFC and testament to the socialist ideals of letting someone else pay. No matter which way the vote goes I sense there is far worse to come because there seems to be no will to pull together. It's all "I" and "me" rather than "we" and "us". Rorts and tax evasion are endemic - any wonder that with so many people on the government teat that there's no money to pay their creditors. But now there's no money to even pay the pensions of even the genuinely needy.

I read yesterday about the island of Zakynthos where many people are registered as blind (with the help of a dodgy ophthalmologist) in order to claim extra benefits, despite the fact they still happily drive around in their cars etc. There are many other similar tales including the fact that many people don't register the deaths of their parents so they can continue to draw their pensions.

Was in Athens a few years ago and only 1 or 2 blocks from Syntagma Square, where the crowds have been seen on TV in recent days, many main city streets were disgusting -there was graffiti and rubbish everywhere - even on historical monuments. Where has the pride in their city and themselves gone?

Going to Corfu next month on a port stop. We were going to just go into the main port area. Ship life might be better. Our big Greece trip was last year. Enjoyed thoroughly but not needing to return. And now they have asked Euro bank for a top up to open the banks. Clearly they have no idea.

Currency markets have just opened and have reacted to the Greek vote - Euro (naturally) is down but more relevant to us is that the AUD has fallen over 2% to its lowest level in over 6 years. Thanks Greece!!
