Anyone have thoughts on Optus vs Telstra these days.

In my area they seem very similar but Optus is about $50 am month cheaper.

You phone might be stuffed.

Interesting factoid.

My S3 is pushing 3+ years, though I have since reflashed it with a different ROM to the stock Samsung. No clear hardware errors yet. The RAM still seems rather insufficient, and of course the battery is showing its age (but not completely end of the road).

Isn't that one of the great things about chicken pox, that you only get it once. Then maybe shingles in later life, just to look forward to.
Well I've had it twice. Once as about a 5 year old (I recall being covered in calamine lotion which didn't stop the itch) and again in my early 20s when it developed initially as a flu-ey type thing. Then the spots came in - boy did they come in. Sick as a dog, but fingers xx_'d never had shingles

I think you don't know the actual definition of factoid.

I have an S5 sitting in its box waiting for my S4 to tire; also have an S2 for backup.

Samsung have jumped the shark with the S6 and I am not interested in going there (sealed battery, no add memory) - no way ..

In the interests of space, sealed batteries and no additional memory seem to be the go. Oh yeah, also useful for vendor lock-ins.

I'm just sick of TouchWiz to be honest.

I would have switched to a Huawei, but the P8 in Australia has too little internal memory (I want the dual SIM capability) and the phablet they seem to be selling well seems a bit too big for liking. I would have also considered Xiaomi if there was another way to get them other than the grey market.

Guilty as charged. I have to admit only grabbing that word from hearing it in other contexts that I now realise were misusing the word or in an ironic context.

It's ok, as I was probably also using factoid prior incorrectly. One of the first net factoids was everybody ate 3 spiders a year in your sleep.

I often get £40 off codes for the Huawei Honor phones - they look decent enough and very well priced.

From what I hear shingles later in life is nothing to look forward to. And with my weak immune that looks like fun. Felt like dying last time. I can hardly wait for shingles. :(
