New Years Eve not that special. Seen one, seen them all.
You can see the lanterns at Loy Kratong festival in November. Last year I was there for Loy Kratong in a village outside of Chiang Mai and this year in Pattaya. We had our own Kratong which we sent out in to the bay hopefully taking all our cares and worries with it.I thought our NYE in Chiang Mai was pretty special. Though the function in the hotel ballroom (which we went to) finished there at around 11pm, and everyone then went outside on the lawn waiting for fireworks. The kids babysitting also finished at 11pm We watched the magical lanterns floating in the air all around from our room for most of the time before midnight.
Hate the censorship on Cruise Critic. A discussion on terrorism and cruise ships was being discussed. Quite polite amongst all participants but one redneck suggested terrorism on ships would never occur if people could carry guns. All responses came back saying - um, Nope. Politely though and citing examples where this was not the best way.
Sure enough - thread gone. Cruise critic does not any negative discussions on gun laws. Ever. Wonder who funds it?
Different on AFF.
Everyone would fire away.
Some would go off with a bang.
Others would rifle through their memory for a comment.
Many would shoot from the hip.
And the mods would have to don their bullet proof vests.
I was thinking that he must have had lunch with Hvr!Oh dear. Been into the Christmas brandy a tad early drron? Or was it medicinal?
