Well work over for another week. Now to try and enjoy 2 weeks off work.

Travel all day tomorrow, meet wife on Thursday then 7 games of golf in 8 days then spend the weekend in the village and spend some time with nephew.

As long as you fete her with pointy end flights you will be a keeper GarrettM.
I know you will find this hard to believe but my good wife thinks that 7 wallets of plastic are quite enough. Then she asks how good was the exchange rate on the English pound conversion on her Bankwest World cc.

As good as it has been for a while, that's for sure.

The standard you walk past is the standard you accept. Gov David Hurley

Jessica - I thought that this quote was attributed to retired Gen. David Morrison - current Australian of the year. I could be wrong though!

I originally attributed the quote to Mr Morrison, however I have been reliably informed that he in fact acknowledged that Gov Hurley was his source. So I changed my quote to reflect the origin.

Re: Best QF Status Run Options - Questions and General Discussion

Unfortunately only the Haematologist will clear me. GP wont agree until I've seen him/her. That appt was supposed to be in a months time. Received the appt and it is end of May!!! Rang up and managed to bring it back to end of April. Due to the unusual aspect of it all I have to use the Public Hospital where the expertise is.
That leaves me three days to get status. Not going to happen.
Heard about your problems today - sounds like you are a very lucky person! I know a few people who died as a result of undiagnosed DVT's, so take it easy and best wishes for flying, when you get the OK :)

Thanks FM. Who would have thought a soft lump in my throat would have so many consequences. Indeed I was very lucky.

Qantas is taunting me though. Another 50% status credits bonus received last week. But wont have the clearance to book by end of March. And NZ F on sale.

But not before 30 April when I lose status. :(

I had a status run all booked for last week and was flying in F to NZ on sale and return but had to cancel. At earliest I will be able to fly after 27 April as none of the consultants or GP will clear me to travel until I've seen the Haemotologist.

I am enjoying the diet coke more than the champagne. That's a worry?

I've had so much champagne in the last few months that it has really lost its shine. I can take it or leave it. It really is first world problems when that's the view one has!

It could just be me. I have gone off beer as well. Perhaps I am starting to be responsible late in life?

I would always take the coke (not diet, & no ice) over champagne, but that's just me. More than about 6 mouthfuls of champers and I will have a headache.
