Only thing nicer than flying First Class, is finishing uni with First Class Honours.
Seems like uni is trying to suck me back in though.... "if you ever get bored of work, feel free to discuss with us about doing a PhD." Uhh I'd rather shoot myself than set foot upon another library!

I don't feel so guilty caving in and buying a Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Tadao , with shoes to match, after all as I can now think of it all as a reward...

I agree with this... I'm going back next year to do my Masters.I hate to say this but I reckon you'll be back in 3-4 years. You may find this hard to believe but you do miss uni (says he with three degrees!).

Congrats on the First Class Honours. Very nice.
I'm sure you will be tempted to head back to uni ...
Having just finished my degree a few days ago, I can say heading back to uni is certainly not at the top of my list... YMMV:!:

It would be unusual for the RFDS or Air Ambulance as these normally go into Essendon. I would assume that it was for a RPT aircraft.I presume an RFDS flight, Air Ambulance or similar....they don't announce them, so unless you were on it we'll probably never know....
I only heard Rumours ......
Now for those political animals out there when and how did Fleetwood Mac star in politics?

Well, I am now in the MEL T1 J Lounge waiting for QF634, taking advantage of the free wifi.
Finally going home - it's an odd feeling. An odd feeling not helped by the lack of sleep I had last night - barely an hour and a half before I got up, packed hastily and made it out to the airport...just making my bag drop cut-off by less than 10 minutes.
And just like any good check-in drama, I made the check-in cut-off only to find that the flight was delayed by at least 30 minutes! Oh well, it did mean more time in the Koru Club, quite a respectable lounge.
I must have been so tired I completely forgot to pack the honey I got into my checked bag. For some odd reason they let me keep the sets of small pots of honey but they did confiscate the free yoghurt tub full of honey Oh well.
On the plus side, I had stuff to declare upon arrival in MEL, but I was rescreened by an officer whilst attempting to queue up for the customs benches. A couple of quick questions asking what I had and within a few seconds I was allowed to cut out of the queue and out into the arrivals hall.

Mal,Bizarre. Perhaps a rule around it not being in original packaging for the liquids or something (although I didn't think we had those rules in Australia or NZ).
I also thought honey was a quarantine concern in Australia - obviously not from NZ.
Well I'm probably going to see the first snowflakes of the season in the next few days. There's plenty of cold air coming from Russia way at the moment, and temperatures are dropping. Lows are down to -1 to -2 some nights this week.
Mal,
The Honey was 'regular' Clover Honey in a yoghurt size (250grm) container and the quarantine issue is relevant to WA only.
Enjoy the 'White Christmas' as we no doubt will be sweltering.
