I waited in the outbound immigration queue at KLIA for 50 minutes before being processed.

Malaysia is a fast developing country and there is much for the country to celebrate. However their propensity for patronage politics keep holding back what can be a dynamic Asian "Tiger". The final queue to get out of the country is a symptom of the brakes on the country.
Inbound immigration was not like this a few years back. Looks like more fun tonight.

Sorry to say but anytime Indians are in the queue it takes twice as long to process.

Yes that was my observation as well. Unfortunately they remain one of the groups with the worst discrimination against them.
I am told be my relatives living in KL - the collection of outbound biometrics is to prevent people travelling on stolen or borrowed passports particularly from the subcontinent and the Middle East.

I still use cash in Malaysia unless in hotels or uber.

The 3.04 : 1 MYR/AUD pair was welcomed when visiting there.
Never change into MYR at airports - Indian money changers are the best - count your cash before leaving the transaction though!!

Problem. With Windows 10 Google has now blocked Picasaweb so now everything in google photos.problem is they really don't allow embedding photos-eg in TRs.
anyone with suggestions?

I went in and out of KLIA2 a few weeks ago with no issues.

Arrival (8pm) took about 10 min and departure (8am) about 1 min.

It obviously varies a lot.

Saw an ENT today for my sinus issues. The camera up the nostril was a first (hope he doesn't share it with the person who does the colonoscopy!) and was amazed at the difference between each side.

Right side was normal and fairly straight forward. The left side warranted a second look from both of us due to its enlargements and deviations.

Now we know what's there we can plan some treatment. And then I can breathe easily (at last),
I had one blocked nostril for ages, thought it was hay fever and finally went to an ENT guy. Had an op which took quite a while (I think he went in boots and all, removed an incredible volume of polyps I had no idea were there). No sneezing or sinus headaches ever since; really successful......oh you just wait for the follow up visits, if you thought the camera was bad then the rest can only be imagined. But I'm sure you will really appreciate the improvement

I've been wondering about this a lot recently as I seem to be having more an more difficulty breathing normally. My nose isn't blocked per se, but neither is breathing easy most of the time, particularly on my right side. If the left blocks, I'm a mouth breather. :( This is compounding problems I have sleeping because of my TMJ which is locked ridiculously tight. *sigh* the last thing I want is nasal surgery. Also do not want to try those freaky pots either, haha.

Well you may not be able to see the polyps - I had no idea I had them until I saw the GP & certainly didn't know how many. The op was no prob, about 45 minutes IIRC only light packing which came out next day. Just swooshing out the gunk for a couple of weeks was erky but all in all a brilliant result and I'd certainly go that track again

How long after sinus surgery before you can fly? MrP has had a CT which shows significant issues and to fly he has quite a procedure plus uses a sinus wash twice a day everyday. Would like to have the surgery but has to keep flying for work.

Over 40 minutes again today. And now 10+ minutes in departure queue and still nowhere near it. My 3 hour transit has gone again. Boarding in 15 mi
nutes or so.

And what's worse my Zuji booking with MH flight, QF codeshare on EK fligh and then QF domestic domestic flight has decided to print me an EK boarding pass with EK flight number and no status.

Sick and tired of this cough following me everywhere at every opportunity. And people wonder why I go through life depressed. Just give me 5 minutes of peace. Not a lot to ask. Just 5 minutes.

Oh and EK flight SIN-MEL delayed. Yeahhhh. So much fun.

It was 6 weeks for me.

It was zero for me .... then again - I found a way to avoid surgery!

Dont sweat the small stuff JohnK. You have much more exciting and fundamental things happening.

The small stuff filters through to the important things too. I am supposed to be relaxed and I am stressed.

No time to have shower and change clothes since yesterday morning.

Yep - but CT is showing physical obstruction so I suspect 'build up' that has to to be physically drained. Did you get any, ahem, drainage as a result of the procedure? :o

Best of luck to the hubby.

I had the same scan, and was advised the same solution. Funny enough it was a Surgeon that put me on the course that avoided surgery.... 15 years later - I'm still breathing clearly thru two clear nostrils :D

When we had a split in our Business we created a "commandments according to ABC person" over a few white wines in the Hyatt Grand Melbourne. Cost us a bomb in booze but priceless in the medication effect.

Best of luck to the hubby.

He has yet to consult a surgeon as that would mean he was in a position to contemplate surgery. Thanks for the info.
