How long after sinus surgery before you can fly? MrP has had a CT which shows significant issues and to fly he has quite a procedure plus uses a sinus wash twice a day everyday. Would like to have the surgery but has to keep flying for work.

No actual probs with flying. However he may look like he's been a few rounds with with his favourite pugilist.

Over 40 minutes again today. And now 10+ minutes in departure queue and still nowhere near it. My 3 hour transit has gone again. Boarding in 15 mi
nutes or so.

And what's worse my Zuji booking with MH flight, QF codeshare on EK fligh and then QF domestic domestic flight has decided to print me an EK boarding pass with EK flight number and no status.

Sick and tired of this cough following me everywhere at every opportunity. And people wonder why I go through life depressed. Just give me 5 minutes of peace. Not a lot to ask. Just 5 minutes.

Oh and EK flight SIN-MEL delayed. Yeahhhh. So much fun.

Mine was Mh 607 (MH online), then QF8404 then QF422.

Waited 50 minutes at KLIA(exit immigration) in the humidity and heat after eating durian. Then 607 delayed by sudden downpour - I could not see main terminal from satellite terminal. Landed in SIN 15 minutes before departure on QF8404. Was prepared to run from E gates to terminal 1, but got picked up at gate by electric cart who dropped me off at transfer desk to pick up boarding pass.
Not sure who organised the electric cart as I was on 2 PNR. I did tell MH checkin I was on a second PNR which they must have annotated into my file
Opup at gate from Y to F!!!

Sometimes it happens JohnK!! Hope it happens to you soon!!

If you book through the airlines rather than third parties like Zuji, maybe your experience will improve? My past experience has been if you go the cheapo route, you'll get a cheapo experience, so I don't do cheapo anymore. I don't try to cram itineraries any more either. Always put padding in there these days so I don't have to rush, don't have to stress if the prior flight is delayed or even cancelled. I'm not talking about excessive waits at airports either. I can't remember the time I last had to rush through an airport ...

Looks like we had identical flights except for QF420 for me which I may not make tomorrow morning.

I must be misunderstanding the codeshare arrangement. I want QF boarding pass for SCs/QFF points but apparently it is an EK boarding pass with QF codeshare flight on it.

Flight looks to be way oversold. My carefully chosen 67G bulkhead has disappeared. Handed boarding pass for 15D. I changed to 26J as the only window seat available. Tired but may not sleep.

I booked via Zuji as Qantas was not selling this routing from KUL. I wanted to try something different.

Why connect when you can fly direct? :)

Unless I'm misunderstanding, what does it matter whether it's printed on a QF boarding pass, EK boarding pass or <insert random airline here> boarding pass? If it's a QF code on the flight that you've booked/paid/ticketed then should be no issues in getting SC & QF miles. Obviously hang onto it in case they don't automatically post, but just because it's not printed on the BP does not mean you won't get them. I've had many times in the past where the BP hasn't noted airline membership, status, etc. and all posted OK.

The boarding pass printed in KUL had EK404 with I believe no reference to QF8404. My QF number was printed but no status showing.

The boarding pass printed at Transfer desk in SIN has some extra details.

If the SC don't post correctly, you still have the booking details that show you were on the codeshare so you can claim.

Just jumped onto MrP's computer to add a new delegate to his outlook calendar. Just take a few seconds right?
Nope. Bloody windows update. Currently 10 minutes and still just 51% done.

Oh great. Password has been changed. Or something not right. Sigh.

Right. In. Still updating. Bloody IT. Its saturday morning for crissakes! Just let me do what I need to do.
