At this secret overnight location, check to see if they have cotton bathrobes :)

And congratulations!

It's our anniversary today. The all important cotton milestone. But in all the stress of getting mum's house sold I haven't had any time or money to get MrsGM the presents I had hoped to get. And she went and organised a surprise overnight stay at a secret location. I'm going to have to work hard to make it up to her.
Bet she doesn't mind, knowing what you've been up against this year. Congratulations and enjoy the overnight stay :)

How many years is cotton?

Edit - found out :)

In the old custom, 2 years.

According to the modern custom, Im getting furniture next anniversary. Apparently nothing says I love you more than a comfy cinema seat recliner with cup holders.

Conundrum: Keep a recent expensive present purchase while overseas hidden for a few years for 25th anniversary or reveal it sooner?

Other trinkets were not awe inspiring...

Online inductions where you have to wait for the narrator to finish before clicking "next" even though you finished reading everything on the page 45 seconds ago

I really don't want anything sapphire either. I have a sapphire ring already. If it is going to be jewellery - then I would like a morganite ring. I like pink !

I had a Le Creuset large wok - it was SO heavy I could not lift it, so it hardly got used. I gave it to my DIL ! She is a strong girl !

I love Le Creuset and use my smaller pot a couple of times a week and the large one once a week in winter. Slow cooked curry tastes wonderful.

I brought a Le Creuset set to Australia once for a friend. It was heavy! (But I had luggage allowance I didn't need to use, and she was relocating back to Oz so happy to help)

Are they still much cheaper in the UK than Australia I wonder?!

The prices are too incredible Mal. It is way less expensive in the US and UK on sale.

Speaking of expensive, try buying the Balti style copper pots for serving Asian, esp Indian food. But they look great.
