JohnK I do remember a pie manufacturer working hard to keep the bacteria level low enough so they could ship their production out the door. As a result I don't try discounted hot meals.
Think the lasagna at 3:30pm tastes the same as the lasagna at 2:30pm except now it is cheaper. Buy some chicken and rice for wife and there's breakfast/lunch tomorrow for her too. ;)

Tell that to the women who think it's fashionable to wear pyjamas out in public.

You've seen me in my front yard some mornings, haven't you JohnK? ;)

(some days I don't even bother getting out of them. Nor do I put on a bra.   )

We buy the lasagna cold when we do take away from our local restaurant. Food poisoning isn't a joke. Heating then cooling then heating then cooling can trigger bacteria growth. I am no expert but the restaurant told us to buy it cold.....
We are not fans of mishandling food.

Off to confession with me....

I feel like I should clarify: I never leave my yard in my PJs (unless looking for the cat in the laneway behind).

Sounds like he's resolved a long term legal issue for you. What would someone have to do get a good bottle of wine?

I'd imagine QF WP keeps some decent bottles in that part of his wine rack. "mid to lower" is not necessarily an indication of quality.

Spot on BacchusMarsh. We're talking a Penfolds St Henri 2005, not a Grange 1976 or Moss Wood 2000 (which are on the bottom shelf).

Pushka - get that eye wash ready - joys of no neighbours visual from my home, I often hang out the washing in just knickers & have been known to make husband run oround the parimeter of house naked when he looses a bet.

LOL. Not at home. Nightclubs, pubs, supermarkets etc. Pyjamas appear to be in fashion.

Well you have just gone into my little book of people not to bet against!

I can understand what you are saying and I try to avoid that as well.

But food that is firstly cooked and then cooled to store in fridge or freezer frozen should be ok to reheat once. Once reheated I wouldn't cool to put in fridge or freeze again.

Hoping that businesses don't re-use leftovers but have seen many that do which is not good.

JohnK we need you to be around for the wife and daughter. Time to go a bit conservative for about 20 years at least.
I had the heart op when my youngest was two so I had some time to think about those next two decades.

Bring on the drones! Must check google earth

LOL, not worth the effort, (but will raise that about drones next time we are skinny dipping) but the look of horror when I take photographs is wonderful. Our motto is to make each other laugh at least once a day, and doing silly things that others are not in a position (neighbours) to be able to do adds to the fun.

I had lots of tomatoes from my mum in law so I made quite a few batches of lasagna and used the last one on the weekend.

Now Im sad, because they turned out awesome and I have none left

All my tomato plants grew this year were two green tomatoes. Still waiting.
