Mine havent done fantastically and the plants are yellowing now. The variable weather isnt helping.

Tell me about it. Yesterday Adelaide was 22C and very wet. Today - perfect and 31. Tomorrow - 41!!!

Our tomatoes all came at once. Need to do something with them.
Mum makes tomato paste which she then freezes to use throughout the year. Messy but much better than the tomato paste from shop.

LOL, not worth the effort, (but will raise that about drones next time we are skinny dipping) but the look of horror when I take photographs is wonderful. Our motto is to make each other laugh at least once a day, and doing silly things that others are not in a position (neighbours) to be able to do adds to the fun.

Am I the only one who read that as "but will raise that about drron's next time we are skinny dipping

I make passata every year. Great to use over winter for slow cooker dishes.

Our buffalo lawn is dead with this heat so waiting for the heat spells to be gone so I can hit it with some ferts to bring it back. Got the perfect "before" shot.

Second opening time added to Saturday due to demand. At least they checked with me first, and are fully ok with me working in the kitchen during it.

Australians really are over sensitive sometimes.

I opened my mouth at work and now I am "in trouble".

The first of my high school friends has now lost both of her parents. :(
Her Mum passed away when she was pregnant with her first child, and her Dad passed away last week. Secondary cancer, though they were expecting he'd come home. :(

Unfortunately my hope that after attending a 10 month old's funeral in December, a 38 year old's funeral in January, that the next funeral would be someone much older ... it is. But of course it always hurts for those who mourn. :(

All my tomato plants grew this year were two green tomatoes. Still waiting.

First tomato started ripening two weeks ago. Went to grab a couple more yesterday and a few of the lower tomatoes had signs of rodent damage...

Bloody cat not doing his one and only job.

Rodent poison spread around the garden and sheds.

With over 40 plants should be plenty of tomatoes till the end of March.

Plenty of cucumbers, zucchini, beans, peppers, lettuce, rocket, cabbage being harvested. The potatoes should be ready in the next month.

I keep my patch covered with netting, otherwise I lose all of mine to rats and possums (and birds).

Had to remove all the mangoes from the tree on the weekend because the fruit bats have been feasting every night.

Got about 4 bucket loads... not the biggest haul but hubby is happy.
