Whipped up a batch of lemon curd from homegrown lemons today. Turned out so well I think I'll need to make more. Stripped the lemon tree before we moved.

Anyone here use Air Tasker? Had arranged someone to come do a job at home today, complete no show and not answering messages. Thankfully someone else was able to do it almost straight away.

I assume Ramada in Ballina best hotel in town for 1 nt stay? Restaurant recos if anybody any insight?
A few years now since I used to stay in Ballina on a business run. The Ramada was the modern spot to stay then but I was happy to stay in a little family run motel-Travellers Lodge, different managers now & it was just a typical country town motel. I was travelling on my own so I was happy to walk to the RSL that had a reliable bistro and a good version of Tooheys Old schooners! Don't expect too much is probably the best advice I can give

I haven't used them but know someone in Sydney who had no end of trouble getting them to do anything.

We took our son and his wife out to Fleurs restaurant on Saturday night and had a great time. I can't rave enough about the quality of the food and the whole restaurant experience. Just outstanding.

I was surprised, as it's a Motel restaurant but my eye fillet was superb. The Cape Barren McLaren Vale Old Vine shiraz was also great. Naturally I booked through QFF for points.

Gosh, I havent looked at our lemon tree for a while.

Took a couple of bags of mandarins into the office - still have a few bags at home to get rid of.

The Cassie Sainsbury saga is just getting out of hand with lawyers and TV channels fighting an injunction in court.

The fiance, sister and mother are really not helping her position by signing exclusives with the TV channels and selling their stories before "Cocaine Cassie" even had a chance to do what she needs to do in court.

This is what I was thinking, reading various news outlets. Its getting murkier and murkier and even her own dad and uncle arent helping. Dad suggests she was up to shenanigans and uncle (supposedly the Cleaning company owner) says he never owned that type of business at all.

If I was the boyfriend, I would be leaving Columbia very quickly, before dirt and police attention starts heading my way.

Best? If looking for a larger group accom with possible FF benefit then yes.

I stayed at the Colonial Inn 3-4 months ago (just down from RSL And Bowls Club) as I was attending a concert at RSL.

Didn't go to any restaurants so can't help you there.

I think we can all just walk away from the Cassie story and let the Colombian courts sort it out. Just hope as tax payers we don't have to get involved. So much detail left out of the original story which we all pretty much surmised. But play in the big boy rackets and you are the one who gets to carry the can when it hits the fan. Sacrificial pawn.

We watched both stories (Ch7 and 9) from boyfriend and mother/sister/father - which could not more diametrically opposite.

Ch7 had a narrower focus on fiancé and Cassie - neither of whom I trust. Fiancé wasn't telling the truth - body language and eyes gave him away.

But the bombshells in 60 Minutes story kept coming (who had researched Cassie's past more thoroughly). If they are true, I think there's a lot is similarities to Schapelle Corby in that it won't end up well for Cassie regardless of whether she was a patsy or colluded (or was coerced) into carrying the cocain

Last week we exchanged contracts and we have a settlement date. Thats a relief, just couple of weeks to go.

I'm already over it.

Im still lost on sticking to the story line of Im employed by a cleaning company to fly to Columbia... but not a single employer named or found.

Now the FIFO hooker job in Penrith. I think she thought she could twirl her blonde hair and smile her way through.

I had a lovely weekend that, for the first time in months, did not involve any moving house. I went to the gym, did a heap of baking, walked the dogs, drank some wine....and it was good. Counting down to Adelaide this weekend then the US next weekend....

Well she needs quick cash to pay off her losses from the failed personal gym. Whether she shared that with her fiancé- well who will know. She certainly concocted a story about her mums MS for the other workers (like Muriel when she wanted to try on the wedding dress). Now they all know (along with her clients), that she wasn't letting the truth get in the way of a good story. Things will now start to unravel for her. If that's how she made her bed, then she'll be lying in it for 21 years and 3 months (the sentence for smuggling more than 5kg in Columbia

Similar but big clean up effort at home. Steam floors, carpets ect, cars cleaned blah blah blah. Threw out a few boxes of stuff that was just sitting around, gathering dust.

Niece came over and picked up some extra luggage for her move so the only luggage we have in the house now is the luggage we use.

Any news story where the main protagonist becomes identified by first name only I actively switch off and/or avoid; ditto with on-line newspapers etc. I'm happy to say I know little about this 'story' and couldn't care less about what I don't know.

I also didn't move house but had an unexpected burst of energy which involved cleaning places such as behind washing machine and dryer; on hands and knees scrubbing floors; vacuuming places that hadn't seen suction in months etc etc. Then weeding the garden, cleaning out the gutters and cleaned the fish pond.

Don't know what came over me, really.
