There is absolutely no reason to go into Spotlight. Bunnings on the other hand...

But Im not allowed to go to Bunnings unsupervised. I walked out last week paying $240 for Easter Island Moai heads!

Edit: I only went in there to return a couple of high vis vests.

They really did see you coming. :p

Is hot knifing done by an actually device? It is one of those things I have wondered about.

Best laces I ever bought were for my hiking boots.

I went to Mountain Design, where they sell climbers rope, and picked a very thin/shoelace thickness rope, bought a couple of metres, hot-knifed the end and those laces lasted longer than the boots, which was about 8 years.

I actually own a hot knife but you can use a match as well (depends on what you are doing/size of item). The hot knife gives a better cut/finish.

This is what I have, but blue

My husband is attending the SMPTE expo at Darling Harbour and I told him to have a nice lunch because tonight will be a simple chicken broth and dumplings, thinking he will grab sushi or a kebab....

ANZ junk mail for life insurance... or as they call it, Love Insurance

Life Insurance is really Love Insurance.
Life insurance is more than just a policy, its like a love letter that says I'll be there for you and I can look after you no matter what.

When they respray the car do they respray everything that had the old paint - including engine bay and remove trims to spray behind the trims?
Don't remember the engine bay but think they removed the trims. It was a long time ago and insurance was paying to fix the rear of the car (rear ended on the F4 ramp at Silverwater) so it made sense to pay and have the rest of the car done.

I would just buy a new one.

My washing machine lid just recently formed a hole on the side/lip through the metal! Why, how? Im guessing its about 15yrs old, will have to check the receipt.

Gawd. I never keep old receipts.

I had a phone call from my car dealer, asking if Im interesting in selling my Subaru as they have a bulk buyer in Qld who wants to purchase my particular model.

Strange sales pitch to get me to buy a new car, my car is only 2yrs old.

What model?

Sometimes the little things annoy you.
I am seeking to purchase a pair of business shoe laces, thin and 60 cm long. Can't find them in a supermarket anywhere so I tried a shoe repair stall. The price $4!!
At that price I'm still looking.

Oh suck it up and JUST BUY THEM !!!! :D
