Unfortunately I am in the same boat. No social networking sites or iPhones. Why do I deprive myself of the luxuries in life?

I am trying to find a person I used to know over 20 years ago. Useless iPhone and Facebook could not help me.

Facebook is normally fairly useless for finding someone you knew 20 years ago as it really isn't a generation that has embraced Facebook (ie, you don't use it - so why would you expect someone you knew 20 years ago to use it?).

If they are male it makes the job easier as you don't have to contend with changing surnames. If you know their middle name, it's also easier.

Are they in Oz do you think? perhaps I can privately give some pointers to track them down. If overseas it is a lot different.

Why did I decide to visit a town today that had the description "Sleet and Freezing Rain" as the weather forecast?

While it has now warmed up from -1 to 0, the forecast has now changed to "Rain and Snow". Going to be a nice layer of snow on the ground later. Hope I make it back to London ok.

You just never know where you may see them. I have tried Google, now Facebook and a few other sites without luck.

It is a she and I have forgotten her middle name. It has been so long.

I am certain they she is still in Australia. I can call her cousin or hire a private detective but I do not want her to find out it is me.

By the way I am not a stalker but it would be nice to know what she has been doing, did she get married, children etc....

This is brewed coffee that is being supplied for with refreshments/lunch for the intensive course being run through our centre this week (next week, no more free food).

I'm twitching a bit...... can't be a good thing......

Thanks but unfortunately I have tried and no luck.

I will keep trying google and the occasional facebook search (relax using someone else's iPhone and Facebook account) but I am not holding my breath....
