Coworker going to Japan with 3 kids and I just told her about their luggage forwarding service.

She cant stop smiling now at the idea of how simple her trip just became.

I find customer service staff very inflexible following a script. Initially they were saying I've been behind 3 months. I cleared account in May and did a balance transfer and they applying payment in June to tge May statement.

Time to cancel some credit cards and start churning points cards.

Recently almost cancelled my Amex card ( it's a Centurion ... for the dubiously genus Sus)..... anyway they had big accounting errors ! They also added lots of fees for late payment. However I was able to reverse.... read multiple late fees.

Finally still waiting for replacement card (?) overly longtime.

But the Amex company also reversed my 5000 annual fee for the whole year. Which basically means I thought staying on seemed quite fair.

Please remind me again why women want to torture a man this way? Moral support? Emotional support?
Well, I never encourage MrP to come shopping with me but sometimes he comes along. Although he does like kind of doing that Julia Roberts thing where he encourages the sales assistants to keep showing me dresses and such and then I'm the one to call it quits! Its exhausting.

I once overheard part of a conversation between my, then, teenage daughter and her friend.

Friend: "Don't you mind going shopping with your dad?"
Daughter: "Nah, he just follows me around and pays for stuff".

I go shopping with my wife to keep her company and assist with daughter. I want to do it. There will be a time when daughter won't need such assistance and at that point in time I'm off to golf and wife and daughter can go shopping. ;)

What I don't understand is the women who know their boyfriend/husband hates shopping yet drag them along anyway.

I found the shoe laces, $1.69 for two pair. Definitely worth looking for and not worth the original $3 quoted for one pair. :)

So your hourly rate at work is? Don't want to know but reckon it's one way of working out the true value of hunting around for such stuff.

And where have you been the last few days?
Visiting mother. Keeping up with the family meant little time for here :)
Last of the brothers left today to return to Ireland, others went back to Brisbane yesterday and I spent a day in Melbourne for retail therapy then flew home last night.

I didn't make any special trips anywhere being aware of the costs of such effort. If had a genuine reason to go to a store I looked to see if the laces were available.
