In the mid south we only had some small hail, 3-4mm. Snow would have been good. Was still zero at 1pm.

Not sorry we are missing that! Been bleedin' hot here on the plains of Hungary and Slovakia. Off for a well needed cold beer.

Then a massive thunderstorm complete with hail sent everyone indoors.

Not overly impressed with Slovakian drivers.... Maybe it's because of the German plates on our car. Bit like driving an ACT registered vehicle anywhere else other than the ACT in Australia, seems to turn other people into bad mannered, idiotic drivers that want to cut you up and not let you merge....

Felt like that inside Etihad Stadium yesterday. I thought forty something thousand inside would warm the place up but it didn't .

What's wrong with this thread only 4 posts today:!: (5 with this one)

I was going to post about how we have a callous waste of matter who is somehow of species human for a state transport minister... but then I was too tired for it.

Had other work to do. I've made a commitment not to access AFF from my work device, unless urgent.

We shivered through a Coldplay concert in November at Etihad.

3yr dies from gun shot in Sydney last night. Why the heck a gun was in the house to begin with is something the parents need to ask themselves every f'ing day for the rest of their lives.

It felt much colder outside with regular squally showers coming through.

There was hail just as we were about to exit Etihad yesterday afternoon.I am looking forward to a warmer Perth tonight.

Those Tigers and Saints supporters at the MCG seemed to make good use of the J undercover areas.

We heard the hail on the roof so were quite happy to sing the song a couple more times and cheer Jobe off the ground. It was clear for us when we left Etihad.

C'mon Cossie, i live in Canberra and the ACT has the worst drivers in the country bar none. I often see drivers too timid to merge properly and stop in the merge lane, and don't get me started on roundabouts!

3C when I left home this morning.

Returned to work to 700 emails and a ridiculous request to take on a teaching task that is due today and not part of my job description. I've said no, as I do not have time on top of catching up on three weeks of work. Never has my post-holiday high been shot down so quickly as it has after this trip :-|
