Go for a run up to Camarillo Premium Outlet Mall for discounts or South Coast Plaza for range in shopping. Back here I bought some Georg Jensen 10% off gift cards and we can wait for their sale later in the year. I hate paying list price.

HA HA Cove - we are staying 1 mile from the Camarillo Outlets !!! Just waiting for the shops to open :D

On top of that when we are in LA at the end of October next year we are literally staying in the South Coast Plaza. The Westin just across the street.

I bought my wheeled briefcase in Camarillo on my last visit to stop stretching my arms. You may be able to get drron some loud check shirts and or shorts up there. There are multiple shoe and handbag stores up there.
I think Mrscove has to go to NYC to buy Tous handbags as the store in Los Angeles has closed. Michael Kors provides Mrscove with her initials on their bags.
She is fond of Arche and Mephisto shoes at the moment I think.

Yes there is a walkway across Bristol to go from the Westin to South Coast Plaza so that is a brilliant location.
At South Coast Plaza do try dining a Capital Grille, Maggianos or Morton’s Steakhouse if you want to add a few pounds to your body weight. It will make your obese patients so much more comfortable to see you.

I hope those in the Southern Hemisphere enjoy all the daylight today as it's the Summer Solstice.

For those of us in the Brisbane area we will have 13 hours and 52 min of daylight from 04.49 to 18.42

Here in Melbourne:

Sunrise Today: 5:54 am↑ 121° Southeast

Sunset Today: 8:42 pm↑ 239° Southwest

So 14:48 "day" length. ..

Had a fun day today and totally blew my cholestrol levels :). Caught the Caltrain from Mountain View into SFO and then walked to fisherman’s Wharf. Those hills are good training for the gorillas next year.

Then Clam Chowder in a sour dough bowl at Boudin’s (with Mr FM and I discussing how Qantas manages to destroy sour dough’s reputation). Quick walk to Ghirardelli Square and a hot chocolate for me - Mr FM totally pigged out on a choc fudge sundae - the fudge was amazing!

Tomorrow we move to the Taj on Union Square - one of my favourite hotels. It has a two star Michelin restaurant - Californian inspired Indian. Master FM joins us on Saturday and we will have dinner there on Saturday night (couldn’t find a decent restaurant for either the 24th or lunch on the 25th). Brunch at the Taj on the Sunday and then find something nice to do that evening. We will spend most of Christmas Day with Master FM before catching a 7pm plane to LAX and then home. Good to finally have a plan again :)

+1 for the Taj and it’s restaurant. We stayed there a few years ago - great location. I’ve just wrapped up for the year and am having a nice cold 4 Pines lager at a local bar while waiting for Mrs Rugby.

View from our cabin accommodation.

Only negative is its a double sized bed but everything else is wonderful (picked new cabin, not old refurbished ones). I might end up on the couch but that's comfy too.

Saw the fortified gates of Ocean Lodge but we were unworthy, I should have dropped the Ron's name...

My No 1 fav at the moment is Ted Baker ! And I saw a lovely Tory Burch handbag while we were in Singapore for $ 800, but it was not at the outlet in Camarillo ! Ron saw a lovely pair of gold Jimmy Choo shoes for himself but they just wouldn't fit !!!! :( I didn't know Jimmy did mens shoes but there they were in Nordstroms !! Heading to Las Vegas - surely we will see some bright shirts there ;););)

I had a Ted Baker haircut in London. It was the full works with hot towels three times.

I highly recommend Gary Danko for an excellent meal.
