The totally off-topic thread

I flew MI (SilkAir) for the first time this week. Service, food and the hard product in J were all very good.

IFE was provide via supplied iPads. The movie I was watching contained a scene in which the character flew between two Hawaiian islands.

Either SilkAir or the IFE provider had pixelated the Hawaiian logo.

Seems a bit petty, especially as MI don’t fly any intra-Hawaii routes.

Silk Air can be good or really bad.

Only airline I've been on, expecting people to have chickens as their carry on.

FAs definitely the poorer Singapore Girl cousins but they try their best.

They really need to open the doors. I think that’s what the paramedics are saying to the supervisors.

I must be reading too many reports on US police brutality, shootings ect.

I was all, "Identify yourselves, no I won't get out of the car until you tell me why". Told told them I had a dash cam recording them. I actually have two cameras, one in the rear but only said one.

Over the top but they spooked me, running down the driveway and trying to open my door, yelling get out of the car. I'm 50 and fat, I'm not jumping for anyone these days.

Pity my car was off, no dash cam of them entering.

I admit I over reacted. I've been stopped before for randoms and always polite.

Wow, I think that they are a bit gung ho at times, although they do have to deal with some absolute idiots in cars at times. And I can understand that they thought you were trying to avoid them.

I've been RBTd a few times but only remember a couple. One time I was indicating turning right into a driveway of a house (that I was staying at) about 30 m before the rbt. The operator indiçated quite emphatically that he wanted me to go to his site.

Another time I had just been breathed on the side of the road, and was free to go but used a bit more right welly than I intended and left in a shower of gravel.

And the paramedics will win that argument - every time.
Yup. You nailed that. They called the supervisor over and suddenly one door in each row of doors opened. Wheelchair lift broken down. We just got in and maybe 2/3 full and everyone else waiting and play is about to start. Everyone seriously cranky.

Yay for paramedics.

Do they supply oxygen up there….
Oh it’s way better than where we were before.

This ugly umpires chair blocks a lot of people from seeing the service.

A bit crazy now as they blocked people from entering during the last long game. Ump called for play so people had to sit in nearest vacant seat.

Her noise is actually worse on TV. The mikes must amplify it.
