On the teacher salary discussion I was also going to mention the holiday tax i.e. can only go on holidays at certain times and thus costs more. Only way around that is leave without pay or long service leave which for many is not an option.
i know - we are dreading this! I think Ms FM we will be starting a family in the next couple of years and will be returning to work part time until they are school age. I am assuming we will be helping with childcare, so after these glorious years when we can go on holiday out of school holidays, we will be back to it again. Although hopefully only for a small number of years!

Thanks ... I found it ... and the links to their mea culpa pages.

Today I decided to abandon AUSKEY as I couldn't get it to work properly and go the MyGov route in fjuture. At least I won't need to set up an AUSKEY on every computer I may use (or a USB).
i tried MyGov and couldn’t get it to do anything I wanted. I like the business portal and have my AUSkey set up on an external drive so it’s pretty easy. Few more years and will close the company down (Mr FM still doing a little consultancy) and the I can say goodbye to it all!

He obviously does not snore or have restless leg syndrome, I have been sleeping in separate room since I went back to work full time. I need a good nights sleep to function the next day.
Mr FM has both, but I just don’t like sleeping separately. I have discovered that if I just give the pillow a gentle tug it generally makes him shift position and he stops. There are some nights when I lie there and phantasize about smothering him :)

Same same.

There were too many nights where I raised my pillow.... would have to get up and walk to other end of house....settle down again. Now just easier to stay in the one room all night. We do stay together on holidays, though I usually book twin beds.

I went Resmed and other than the white noise from the moving air it is quite peaceful. We have dual latex beds that make one king size bed.
After we switched to firm latex mattresses my backaches stopped so I was happy with how it worked out.

I haven't thought of this trick before.

Touch on with Gocard, walk though barriers on way to train, turnaround and look shocked then touch off with GoCard and continue walking towards train.

What excuse would you use when you get caught? Not sure how I managed to touch on and off at once?
What excuse to give? How about "Oh dear, I just got caught committing a crime! And it was pre-meditated as I told everyone on the internet about it."

Don't know, but in Melbourne it's one of the things inspectors watch for. So, might be pretty tough to explain away

At last , the true identity of Mr Walker is revealed ! And it’s not a fantasy (lol) ;)

Through some quirk of booking we had twin beds in most of the hotels in Japan in our last trip. It was.....( I’ll let you fill in the word).:p

I made a fire. Harder than I thought, more trouble than what it's worth. View attachment 122993

That is my main source of heating my home, although a much larger unit, it is still sometimes a pain having to get it started each night. I do like it when we decide to keep it running all day/night, but it does chew through a lot of wood
