At last , the true identity of Mr Walker is revealed ! And it’s not a fantasy (lol) ;)
isnt that interesting - i’ve always used that spelling, but apparently it is “archaic” - I know I am old but didn’t think I was that old. :)

I believe that one refers to the conscious stage and the other to the unconscious state..... It’s all a bit above me

i think I will just change my spelling and become modern - none of which helps of course when I am lying awake at night contemplating mariticide.

What excuse to give? How about "Oh dear, I just got caught committing a crime! And it was pre-meditated as I told everyone on the internet about it."
They do give excuses.

Last month I boarded a train at Park Road and it wasn't going anywhere. Police and ticket inspectors everywhere. Opposite me sat a middle aged woman with a stroller and baby. Next to her sat a younger woman with stroller and baby. Could have been mother and daughter. The younger woman had Gocard with no money and wasn't touched on. The ticket inspectors asked her to leave train. Younger woman got a serve from older woman. They got out. No fine.

There's a theory that some people don't bother with Gocards. I think fine is $70 and the odds they are not caught that often.

What’s the cost of hardwood in your area?
A sore back.
I have 100 acres, so we just either find a fallen tree, or our wood for this winter came from a tree inside our house yard that had died, Had it professionally cut down (too close to house and pool/shed/bunnies hutch) they cut into 30-40cm lengths then we just hire a splitter for the weekend, and split and stack - hence the sore back. We usually go for the Ironbark trees, but take what ever is around.

i tried MyGov and couldn’t get it to do anything I wanted. I like the business portal and have my AUSkey set up on an external drive so it’s pretty easy. ...
Same same.
It was fine until my USB died - I had a backup of it by the AUSKEY backup therin would not work.

I was surprised to see the Business Portal accessed using MyGov seem the same or similar to accessing AUSKEY - none of the floury MyGov white space.

I think you misunderstood, it seems @JohnK was describing the actions of another member of the public.
