Not the most appropriate comments IMHO. I don't advocate violence regardless of the colour of one's skin, but one does hope he'll be getting a healthy dose of punishment from the universe in the fullness of time.

I was thinking it was getting a little racist too.

Is it my turn to be offended? My comment did not make any reference to race, thank you very much, and applies equally to all persons.

There was an article on this on either ACA or Today tonight, or some other trash show. The pensioners got a $5 / month plan for the next 6 months once they complained to Telstra. Why not try it too

How anyone can live without a mobile phone is beyond me, no family, friends or girlfriends to call.

Yes I can understand some people get by without one but I am sure you are missing out on things. I can understand why people don't have a home phone number, I have one as it sort of came with the house and the 2 year internet plan but I am considering canceling it.

2 years in my place; but I haven't got very far in the 30 year home loan; I think I am about $5,000 down in 2 years with over $200,000 to go. What a shocking investment that is.

What are they missing out? The ability to talk to anyone at anytime of the day?

Some people enjoy the peace and quiet of not having others annoy them. And there are heaps of people I know who own a mobile phone and only use it for emergencies and do not even carry it with them at all times or it is switched off.

I know I am a gambler at heart but I can control this addiction for long periods of time. Most people with mobiles and iPhones or whatever cannot leave it alone for a few minutes. Very sad addiction.

None of my business but you should consider the money you have spent to gain Platinum status instead of putting it towards your loan.

Your property purchase is a very sound investment especially if you are able to negative gear.

The comment is two fold: one that I was annoyed with the suggestion that someone advocated violence towards another person (I'm sorry, winking or not, violence just isn't a laughing matter), and that one of those quoted made a comment in respect of the person's race.

You have every right to take offence, I can't tell you how to think nor do I intend to. However, I also don't have to agree with your suggestion that there was no offence to be taken by both your comments.

My original post and views remain unchanged, and it's perfectly reasonable to make a fair and justified comment as to my feelings about what the both of you said.

I don’t know the exact reason, though it was mentioned somewhere recently, I just wouldn’t expect it back very quickly, the only way to check these things now is paid sites.

Interesting loadings. QF16 looks on that to be more full up the front and middle than QF15. Mind you, it is a Friday night so I guess that makes sense.

The words "doing the job properly" could be perceived as an implicit approval of the practice. Note that I said perceived - it may not (and obviously does not from your later post) mean that you actually think this sort of thing is a good idea.
