Slightly on topic here, I have an immigration express card (QF brand) that I managed to retain on a previous trip.

Am heading off to BKK tomorrow and returning on Monday morning. Any chance I will be able to use it returning on Jet*?

About 100%. :shock::D

I dont think they really look to see how or why you got the card, just that you have one (in some cases they dont even look at that). Speaking mostly for SYD/BNE though. Dont know about MEL 9it was so quiet when I last passed though there I didnt need the express card).

Get to the country, find a bunch of people and make a bon fire in the middle of a field. I remember doing that in my youth, great fun :)

You've got to be careful it doesn't get too out of hand. While their parents were away, a gf and her bro decided to rid their farm of some foxes with the help of napalm (Dad was a Vietnam Vet) and ended up destroying a million dollar wheat crop.

End result: one girl off to boarding school! :( :(

When I was at boarding school we had the bon fires near the sporting pitches, I remember it fondly, but no napalm was used

Speaking from personal experience? That’s pretty hardcore!

No, definitely not moi, btw I should've put a "her" before the word "Dad".

I don't love the smell of napalm in the morning....or any other time of the day for that matter!

Grr @ Jetstar.

[InvalidProgramNumber] The Program Number provided is not valid. Verify the program number you typed for {/messagesBooking:BookingPassenger/messagesCommon:Name/messagesCommon:LastName}, {/messagesBooking:BookingPassenger/messagesCommon:Name/messagesCommon:FirstName} and try again.

I assume that it doesn't like my FF number I've entered, but it's such a great way of advising me!

Mal I think JQ only accept ff no's in 10 digit format so if your ff no. is 1234567 change it to 0012345670 & see if it works.

I'm pretty sure you add two zeroes before and one after your ff no. ;)

Thanks - it makes sense, because when I log into the JQ website using my FF number, that is what is shown as my ID, but that also doesn't work.

Nor does 000xx_xx_x, 00xx_xx_x, 0xx_xx_x etc.

Now the real choice occurs ... Should I go through *UGGGH* Webjet for my JQ booking instead? Any other online websites handle JQ bookings to Asia???

JQ really are cough. So I decided to not put in my FF number, and I get the following errors when submitting my CC details (ex-SIN , the ex-AU was ok).
[5023:UnhandledServer] The Server threw an unhandled exception.

[5022:NullReferenceException] An error has occurred. Please try again. If the error persists, please contact the airline.

My visa seems to have been denied by my bank. Waiting patiently for the call from their fraud team - can't be too far away ;)

Do not book thru Webjet, repeat 100 times! Remember what hassles Oneworldplus2 had with his folks?

If you go thru an agent & JQ sked change your booking a) agent might not advise you & b) you tend to get handballed back to the TA if you try to ring the airline direct & c) if you go back to the TA they sometimes want to handball you back to the airline & so it goes on. :( :(

Can you just book it normally on the JQ website without your ffn then ring JQ res & have them add it in for you. :?: :?:

Is now at the Sheraton North Houston.

Wifi is not free but they have a few computers in the lobby.

I received 2 drink chits, bottled water cost $2.00 so I drank the more expensve Jack Daniels and coke. which are usually $9.00

The beer is free; but the they had Miller lite which wasn't that nice.

A few flyertalkers have shown up, just waiting for the crowd to turn up from Frankfurt, and they are due in soon.

I think that's standard amongst most Sheratons. The one I stayed at in Brunei was the same, and I think I recall from TR's on here that others have had a few computers in the lobby too.

Well my fun continues. Still have one booking which is supposedly booked, but can't be found, one that is confirmed, and now I'm trying to search for a flight BNE-MEL on JQ to tie everything together (Jetflex on the day is the same price as the cheapest QF ticket for the flight time I want - so the extra SC will be nice). However, even though QF shows the JQ flights on their website with availability, when you seach for BNE-MEL there is no availability at all for many days in December, whereas OOL-MEL does have availability. I can see some flights being full, but not every one... Another JQ glitch.

How frustrating is it to deal with this mob!

JQ can enter your credit card & search for any booking that has been made against the card so they should be able to locate the pnr that way.

Yeah, phoned JQ up today. CC had been declined, so booking was in limbo. After checking, they advised that I could either pay over the phone or rebook - I chose rebook.

Rang my bank, who advised that the wrong CCV had been entered on the JQ website. GRRR - because I know I used the right one, and also have a print-out of those details showing the right one. Another computer glitch.

Finally managed to book my last JQ sector ok, and re-book the one above ok. Still don't have emailed Itins for either.

JQ website still claims my QF FF number is invalid...
