There is a lot of flyertalkers here over 200, boarding is due to start in 5 minutes.

I had to check my passport tonight, and .... I've grown a green goatie somehow!

I think it's from a piece of paper I had stored in my passport a week or so ago - and somehow it's transferred ink over. It's a real pity it chose my face, not somewhere else!

At the very least that's a fault of the passport if the ink can't be removed. You should be entitled to a freebie for pointing out the flaw.

To all the doctors on AFF, this afternoon I had a numbness around my left shoulder, that was followed by my left arm feeling sort of heavy and I felt light headed. I sat down and checked my pulse but all was normal. I’m no asking for a diagnosis, but should I be worried? Should I go see a doctor?

The rest of the night carried on pretty uneventful and it was suggested I had a panic attack, though I didn’t think I was panicking, so just thought I’d ask :D

Hmm. There's a few more things I'd have to know before being able to say serious/not serious, and an internet forum is not the place to ask. It'd be worthwhile seeing your GP today or pop into the nearest ED if it comes back.

I hope it's nothing!

Is in Seattle, the visit to Boeing yesterday was fantastic.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Mum has cleared the waitlist for a Birkin bag!!!!!! She ordered one with saltwater crocodile skin with palladium handles. She's been waiting for at least a year or 2 now.

(Yet if she wanted one with a different type of material she could've gotten one immediately at the Hermes store... Which IMO lends some credence to those who think the waitlist is a myth to hype things up)

Best news of the year yet! SO excited for her yet jealous at the same time.... well, fortunately they don't make Birkin man bags or I'd gladly sacrifice all travels and not eat for a year for one!

But more importantly, it's been a tough year for Mum (surgery and all) so this at least has cheered her up a bit and given her renewed purpose.

Just had to share! The adrenaline cleared my hangover...

The "Birkin" bag is a hand-built purse from Hermès named after actress and singer Jane Birkin. The bag is a symbol of wealth due to its high price and elusiveness to the public
I prefer to keep any wealth that I may have quiet from the rest of the world....the only person that needs to know if I have any wealth is myself....

Add to that the saltwater crocodile skin version is the most expensive variety, just depends if she has diamonds with it or not ;)

I don't think you can even get a croc Birkin with diamonds these days, it'd have to be custom ordered. The last time I saw a diamond croc birkin was at an auction. I think it went for the price of 2 small luxury sedans!

It's not a symbol of anything - it's a lifestyle. Knowing Mum she'll probably lock it up in a case in the deepest recess of her bag room.... only to retrieve it occassionally to stare at it.

If she wants anyone to mind it or take it on any outings I'll be happy to oblige ;)
