So what does? I just posted in the footy tipping thread and it didn't count either... what gives?

Nothing in playground forum counts for posts.

How about you can go and bump all of my trip reports, as they count as posts.;)

I have written a few of them.

Must be a pretty urgent PM,isn't there any other way for you to contact the member you wish to send the message to?
Cheers

You are able to PM Moderators, Company Reps (I think) and Admin if you need to communicate with someone using "private Messaging", irrespective of your post count.

Those other posts have been deleted.

I thought PM was the only way to contact other members if you did not already know them.

Could be to do with a really important status run that needs to be booked quickly.

I guess it is lucky there wasn't a guess the date thread on at the moment. It would've made life very interesting.

Is this because the sky is falling in?;) (not really having time to read threads to which I'm not subscribed already on AFF I'm guessing it's something to do with the e-mail I received from Qantas this morning....).

Either that or something to do with Collingwood losing last round. :p

At first glance, PS are getting a raw deal (in regards to loyalty bonus, it's no longer a LONG TERM loyalty bonus as I believe the SC total gets reset each years rather than being accumulative up to 500), SG is getting a great deal, and WP ... well, they don't really get much at all :p

Is there a thread on St Kilda's chances of making the 8 this year and possibly winning the grand final? ;)

Too much need for comfy seats for pollies and senior public servants.

I guess, I just thought they might have flown there by now considering there must be a little tourism there, and there are bogans everywhere aren’t there? :p

Plus I wanted a cheap flight for AFF#5.

True although I know of one DRW based Senator that used a JQ red eye to BNE because he had to go at night & didn't want to fly via SYD on QF in which would have been in J!

Another SA based Senator not only flies JQ but rings up the travel agent to do his own bookings & by all accounts is a really nice person.

I probably should have joined the AFF Global corporate challenge.

In the past 5 days I have started walking back home from work. I believe it is ~4.5kms.

I remember doing this around 18 months ago and it took me ~75 minutes and I could hardly walk half way through.

The past 5 days it has taken me between 50-57 minutes for the exact same trip and I am a little sore walking 3 days in a row but feel OK.

I know the walking pace is not great compared to most people but it is better than nothing and should at least burn some calories.

Good on you John, I too am walking about 5 km per day with a self commitment of doing it six days per week. So far it is a very rare week I don't do the full seven days. I also notice the decrease in time and weight.

Since I started my lose weight campaign I have shed 39 kilos. It feels great, and I've got about another nine to go. The walking will continue and as it is my quiet destressing time with no music, just the walking up and down hills.

That is fantastic. Keep it up.

I have plateaued at 14-15 kgs loss since September 2010. Need to try something different as I am hoping to lose at least another 7 kilos as soon as possible.
