Such deduction.

The worlds ending and some choose to spend their last minutes posting on AFF!:p:lol:

Testing the photo placement, the older AFF software made it easier to upload photos.

After uploading your photo in your post on the app, you need to click on the attachment at the bottom where is says something along the lines of manage attachments, and put it "inline". It’ll then display better than that.

I cannot see how to edit my own my own post on the new iPhone app. Can you help please?

As below.

As a Moderator, this "modify" command may give you more options, I’m not sure, it seems to suggest it can.

It was pretty simple when I followed through. Instead of 'modify' mine says 'moderate' and so I have to go and 'moderate' my own post :!:

It says moderate for everyone, I just assumed you might see more options, and be able to moderate others posts?

Well that was an interesting spam.

Seems like my hotmail account started sending Spam emails today.

How this happened, I have no idea.

The only place I check hotmail is at home.

Any suggestions from the pros on how to prevent it in future.

Sorry to all those effected.

Log into your Hotmail account, change your password to something more secure. Check your "forgot password" question and ensure it isn't something ridiculously simple.

Got an anti-virus? Ensure it's up to date.

I don't really know how Hotmail accounts get hacked, but do see it every now and again (random emails from friends).

BTW, did get a "spam" email from you. Email was sent by a computer in Manila, Philippines.

I thought it was generally from signing into a site like an online messenger that then steals your password and does the dirty work.

Can be.
Some of the common causes:
- Insecure password that is easy to guess. [possible, but tends to be "a friend"]
- Insecure "password hint" that is easy to guess. [should be obvious]
- Providing Hotmail login details on a phishing site. [very possible]
- Computer being infected with a password sniffing trojan. [possible]
- Logging into Hotmail over an insecure wireless network. [unlikely]

But I don't know the cause in most cases.... (Even though I do know common causes!)

I've put in a retro claim for a MH flight in February that didn't credit to my Velocity account automatically. It was submitted on 7 March.

Haven't been credited or heard squat.

I know the Velocity website says to wait between 8 and 12 weeks, and it's only week 10, but do you think it's a good idea to call Velocity to ask what's going on?

Sure - but why have spam when the real stuff it's based on isn't being rationed?

(samh004 and thewinchester - this one's for you...)

That took me a full minute to understand, which is why I couldn’t participate in such a thread ordinarily :p
