Assuming they flew ~100hours/month then they are close to earning AUD1,000 or ~THB32,000/month. That is a very handy salary in Thailand considering the majority of Thais earn <THB6,000/month.

Small sidenote for those flying EY/VA through AUH on your way back to Australia: the DFS Galleria in T3 is now carting booze to the gate for flights bound for Australia, thus allowing you to bypass the rip-off pricing that the Nuance Group would much rather you pay at duty free shops in Oz ..

Quick price check: $16.50 AUD for a bottle of flavoured Absolut Vodka. Perhaps not the cheapest duty free going, but way cheaper than SYD Duty Free..!

Sitting in the BNE Qantas Lounge right now since 5:30pm. Business Lounge was full and not much better in Qantas Lounge. I wonder if there was anyone in the Virgin Lounge tonight?

And yes you guessed it my flight has been delayed again. Some people are just not meant to get to their destination on time.

According to the latest statement from the U.S. Treasury, the government had an operating cash balance Wednesday of $73.8 billion. That's still a lot of money, but it's less than what Steve Jobs has lying around.

Tech juggernaut Apple had a whopping $76.2 billion in cash and marketable securities at the end of June, according to its last earnings report. Unlike the U.S. government, which is scrambling to avoid defaulting on its debt, Apple takes in more money than it spends.

Absolutely unbelievable!

Checked if for my return SYD-BNE flight earlier and then saw the departure board in the lounge. The flight is scheduled to depart ~50 minutes late. :shock:

How can one person have such an atrocious on time performance over and over? Even Bundy Bear could not believe it and texted me that I must be on that flight.

It hard enough commuting without having to put up with this cr@p....
