I was annoyed because I am yet to fly the "new" domestic A330's despite flying quite a few times from PER since they were introduced.

Just got changed to A332 (from B738) for Saturday night MEL-PER. I guess my anticipation of a sub for the footy was right .

EDIT: Mal, wooow...where is the priority line? :P

I was going to submit that photo to NoNews today. On the scene reporting of horrible security queues as a result of the SYD security issue.

Alas, it was actually taken last night in Cairns. Queue cleared pretty quickly - think max of 10 or 15 mins. But was very, very long.

I watched it in a pub in a small town in Ireland with a bunch of noisy Irishmen and pints of Guinness at 10am. I couldnt give a stuff about rugby but it was fun pretending I did in that situation :)
So which team did you pretend to barrack for? :p

Hmm I switched from 2a to 3c as 2bc were showing as taken and 3ABC free. Get on plane and 2ac is set up in PE config and I have companions in 3ba. Bigger. You win some, you lose some.
I learned a while back to leave last minute seat allocations alone.

Girl in a summer dress (no straps) reached up and across from her seat to press the stop button. Must have stretched too far, as she showed a lot more than she intended. Very quickly recognised the problem and adjusted but not without showing one of her god given assets to those sitting around. She felt terrible and I felt sorry for her, getting off the bus with a fiery red blush.

Lesson learnt - she'll wear a bra next time, I'll bet :o
Why don't things like that happen while I am around? ;)

This was on the bottom of an E-Mail I got from Virgin today, usually don't get them. But has anybody seen this before? I don't really care (not a big deal at all), but is it me or is the line about toothbrushes just a bit LCC?

I've seen them on Flight Reminder emails. I am more inclined to see it as a bit of the Virgin style of old, rather than as an LCC thing.

I prefer the "Enjoy your flight... from the Virgin Australia crew" footer. Much more professional.

BTW, did check, and that "don't forget your toothbrush" comment has been around since at least the beginning of the month.

I only started getting these emails recently, so I couldn't tell you if it was on there before. But I'd say you are right.

You are right, poor choice of words. It's very much the 'Old Virgin Blue'

Surely a non-LCC would provide a tooth brush, while an LCC would want you to bring your own (or sell you one)! :p

Then there are some airline toothbrushes - LCC or non-LCC - that should never be used! :-|

A BE-20 rego VAI is allegedly flying around Melbourne this month en route from turkey to Hamburg. Can someone explain whose plane this is? Some billionaire who bought a secondhand jet from Europe and Plane Finder hasn't updated the tail number??

VAI is an Air Ambulance Super King Air operated by Pel Air.

What happens when priority boarding announcements aren't made at Gold Coast....
