I sometimes used to purchase from MEL when those Skybus 20% discount vouchers were available, but it would be a point of last resort for me now. It's a ludicrous setup (though can see why they did it).
Skybus discount vouchers are now $10 for purchases of $200 or more.

I am pleased to report that I am back and not only survived North Korea, I survived four, yep FOUR flights on the world's only Skytrax 1 star airline, Air Koryo. Apparently I failed to read my itinerary and completely missed the fast I would be taking 3 domestic legs on an IL-18 far older than I am.

And all that reassurance of being on the exit row 'just in case' (cos in Air Koryo it wasn't for the leg room, since it was the same as all the other rows!) was negated by looking up and seeing this on the wall.

This wasn't mentioned on the safety demonstration (which showed us how to use the seatbelt and nil else) nor the safety card, so I am not sure what I was supposed to do with it in an emergency. Lassoo the FA perhaps!

Long enough to hang yourself before the plane hits the ground?

Rope can be purchased from any flight attendant thruought the flight. Credit Card is the prefered method of payment, or as an alternative, correct change is always appreciated.

Have any of the developers here on AFF activated the new Facebook profile layout? Looks quite neat if you ask me!

I've been "immune" to the new changes so far... because I've kept on accessing Facebook through other interfaces (e.g. on the iPod touch or on Snaptu).

Those who know me realise I tend to head into Asia for Christmas/New Year. Normally I try and get organised and pick up reward seats early, but some years I'm not organised and then have to try and work out something interesting.

This year is one of those years!

Itinerary:
BNE-DRW (PE on DJ via points), Overnight.
DRW-SIN (JQ via cash)
SIN-SYD (QF F FASA)
SYD-MEL (QF J part of FASA above).
MEL-BNE (PE on DJ via points).

Still working on my time in SIN - want to go somewhere else in Asia for a few days, then back to SIN for New Years. Not sure yet where.

Well done on the FASA.

Some happy people tonight.

Collingwood beat Hawthorne to go into the Grand Final. 68-65, I really didn't care who won that match, but I am sure some people did. :p;)

Brisbane lost to Manly in the other game, 26-14.

Dunno why I came on here - in Melbourne, the Eagles Broncos game is not being shown on Ch9 until 1:20am, set the HDR to record it to watch at breakfast time.

I have just been saved the trouble ...

While I really don't care since St Kilda is out of the finals it was nice to see Jeff Kennett looking miserable after the match. Perhaps he could call Beyond Blue?
