Yup, (s)Lutwyche is distressing!

It truly is a dire shopping centre, and as a whole the suburb does have very few redeeming factors. No wonder the Kangaroo was confused, lost and just wanted to get out of there!

Dare I say it was prepared by a woman.

Why? Well they are used to being told things are much longer than they actually are.
And women never try to deceive men in any way?

Well in the Jordan Times yesterday Lutwychte's kangaroo did not rate a mention but one hopping down a road in Washington State sure did.

I should have been more clear; adding s to the front of the name was specifically for the shopping centre, not necessarily the whole suburb.

I worked at Toombul for 10yrs through high school/uni, and there was certainly quite a mix of people there. We'd have designers and people on food vouchers all in the one hour. They probably all lived around Clayfield. ;)

But yes, not much at Lutwyche shopping centre ...

Nordstrom anniversary sale starts July 11th. I am posting this as a just in case any of our ladies feel they are needing shoes or clothes!
For the first time the sale will include online purchases so be careful.
Now which credit card to use?
I still think 28 Degrees is a great card for the best rate.

Sat on a table with Trevor Gillmeister this week. Is he famous? A bunch of folks were getting autographs and photos with him. Seemed a good bloke to chat to.

What's wrong with these people? They didn't want to get autographs and photos with you? :p

...that's how you know they're famous. ;) :p

Gotta love Australia... the nation which mandates that all credit providers shalt provide on customers statements a huge message saying that if you don't pay your account in full, you will attract interest and end up paying more if you don't pay it off quicker.

In other news, local celebrity Captain Obvious is announcing his nationwide tour......

I was so pleased to know that if I paid the minimum amount I would be free and clear of my credit card debt a few months before my 113th birthday.

I get the impression that some people believe if they make the minimum payment the card will be paid off. Under the old rules this was sometimes not the case, or could take many years. At least with the changes you can pay it off in a reasonable time frame. I don't think anyone on this site will benefit from the changes but some of my clientele certainly will. Maybe having the final cost displayed will help them realise what that "credit" actually costs

Anyone who thinks that a credit card is access to a giant phantom slush fund should be castrated and have their rights to credit revoked with prejudice.

The worst part is sometimes you can't understand why some honest and hardworking people have to move mountains to convince credit providers that they are capable of handling credit products, whereas others who are clearly incapable are able to access credit like no tomorrow... and never pay it back, of course.

I guess it's almost the market the companies are going for. They want to get those who can't quite pay it back, but struggle on for a little while so they are only chipping away at the interest and not the principal. I am really amazed by the people who have mountains of debt form a young age (i.e. without mortgage or divorce). Whirlpool, which I refer to as 'the trainwreck' is full of bankruptcy and debt stories.

(Trainwreck - You know you shouldn't look but you just can pull yourself away from it)

ballet flats

It's amazing how little i know about the opposite sex after nearly 40 years on this planet! My eldest daughter had to explain to me what Ballet Flats were last week.

Here's a pic of my princesses and the reason i don't travel as much....

Btw until two weeks ago, i didn't realise that Gherkin and Cucumber were the same... - my wife had to enlighten me of that fact.....
