Might have a line on an IT job in Barcelona. Working with my brother, network management or some such (truth be told I don't exactly know what he does - servers or something). Big company, not a Spanish one.

I only discussed it briefly on Skype the other night. That was the implication of asking if I want a job in BCN. But they have offices all over Europe, including UK. So it could be open to negotiation.

Interesting. Wonder whether they have any PM roles.

Believe me when I say it doesn't get boring... always has it's fair share of dramas!

Anyway, I've checked now (thanks AFF for being down) they want server admin people in barcelona. So that's probably no good. Sorry for the false info.

I've just moved away from sysadmin so hoping to not go back ;) If you have the details though, I do know a few people who may be interested and speak Spanish...

Got home over 3hrs ago. Empty house next door has some kind of alarm going off in it (maybe like a new fangled smoke detector when the battery is dead/dying). It is going off *continuously*. Have been making lots of noise, so it hasn't been too annoying ... yet. Am starting to dread going to bed.

Apart from shoving ear plugs in our ears, is there anything we can do?
Don't know the owners; there hasn't been anyone permanently living there in the time we've lived here (+1yr).
