Apparently oyster card in London has up to 1.83 million fare permutations. That's a lot of possible ticket types....

Talk about backfiring joke. I've noticed that the VA lounge staff will sometimes say we've got you in row 3 aisle seat is that ok, when I request a boarding pass. I have restrained my urge to say hell yeah, and just that's fine thanks until this morning. This morning I tried out my pre-thought line of "row 1 or 2 would be better". This was purely as a joke. Anyway, the lounge angel got all serious, I can't do that yada, yada, yada.

Tomorrow morning I will be making a trek into Melbourne from the South Eastern suburbs. In the absence of any positive contribution from Vic roads I have decided to take things into my own hands. The picture below is of a broken down car about to be transported away. Could I urge all of the drivers who like to slow down on the Monash Freeway to look at broken down vehicles to study this picture closely. That way you won't have to slow down tomorrow to look at any vehicles that may have broken down. this will help make my journey much smoother. :p

I like the updated AFF app I can go back to reading AFF in bed before getting up in the morning, also liking posts from the iPhone isn't too bad either.

Must be contagious - The BA Purser the other week didn't like my joke about asking for the "battery acid" (Pommery Champagne)

But now I will have to slow down to see if the broken down car matches the one in the picture.;)

Just on the phone to AA Res, wondering where was my wife's AAward ticket...booked over the phone on 12 Dec (midnight) using AA UK Res - well tha was an abject failure. The Res guy was hopeless, claimed he needed to speak with my wife, couldn't get the date or flight right on the night - and transpires he ended up queueing it to Ticketing in my name.

Had a great call with the Fiji Res AAgent just now who re-booked it correctly, then cancelled the original booking. She said their building was blacked out with the cyclone on its way, winds are very high outside her building and she effectively can't go home. I gave her my best wishes and that her whole team is in my prayers. Bula Vinaka Fiji Res Team!!

Why has it taken me so long to discover Patum Peperium? Now all I want to eat is Hot Buttered toast with lashings of Patum Peperium spread all over it. I think I may be addicted.

I had to laugh at this one. So what is your limit?
Yes I can mangle English as well as anyone.
At least this time I made someone smile rather than upset them with their misinterpretation of my fractured English.Happy you had a laugh.;)

Well I've got an interview tomorrow for a job I've written the book about. And they will get me for a little less than my last job. I must admit, I'll be mightily disappointed if I miss out, although it's always on the cards.

It will be bitter/sweet whichever way it goes - if I get the job I'll have to postpone our European Adventure, due to start in early March, at a cost of several thousand (I'll be able to get some of the pre-paid tours cost back). If I don't get this one, I think I'll wait until after our holiday before getting serious again.

Good luck with the interview, I've had two in the last week which I am happy with. Hopefully I'll progress to second interviews. Have another application to complete in the next week or so. Just a matter of keeping on plugging away.

I know exactly what you mean about holidays with a three week USA trip planned for May which I'll probably have to cancel when I get a job. Fortunately I can cancel without penalty which is good.

Still, tomorrow I will requalify for WP on the 20[SUP]th[/SUP] day of my new membership year thanks to DSCs (doing a JASA to MEL-SYD-AYQ return for the day).

Look forward to seeing lots of you on Saturday night.
