I haven't officially named it, I have informally referred to it with several names, with (expletive) often being used.

Edit: I do like 'Sharon', I might use that as I'm sure it will generate some laughs.

Sharon has a certain 'ring' to it. Why? Because when you need to go is when you would normally cross your legs and you uncross them to let Sharon free.

As for hearing the noise when it lands in the bowl, I imagine you be in so much pain your screams would cover any such noise.

They opened a wine bar at our office today. Decent beverage selection, and people walking around with trays of squid, bruschetta, cheese, etc.

Very yum, and about 60 seconds walk from my desk (on the same floor). We held the Thursday afternoon catch up meeting there today (4-5, but it went an hour overtime) which went very well accompanied by some nice red :)

Is it free? That could be dangerous :p

What is the rationale? Are they trying to be more "innovative"?

I am doing FebFast, but just bought my second case of wine for February (won't start drinking til March).

But this may explain why I have such a lack of storage space :o

Ah, I'm not the only one doing FebFast! Finding it surprisingly easy so far...but my long weekend away next week might be a challenge.

Can the Velocity website no longer handle seating at T-14? I cant even see the option to select, let alone do so!

I started a day late, but have been good thus far.

Given my work / life involves frequent events with free drinks, it is a bit of a challenge, but I have been smashing the mineral water and orange juice :p

Not at the moment. It is only during booking and during check in. Just one of the many limitations of the new enhanced experience.

Shelf, will you update us as to the progress of Sharon? On a serious note :) you may find a warm wheat bag applied to the affected area (no people, that will be his lower back) might help with pain.

Other than that you need to call. It is poor - they sent an email this week spruiking the new system: (New Booking and Check-in System | Velocity Frequent Flyer)
Changes to Advance Seat Selection and introduction of Preferential Seating ¹
You can now select your seat at the time of booking free of charge, or at the time of check-in. Following a booking, you can make a seat selection by calling the Guest Contact Centre.
On flights marketed and operated by Virgin Australia you can also select your preferred seat from reserved zones, which are determined by your Velocity membership level and the fare class booked.
When making a flight booking with Virgin Australia, including any bookings using Points, you will need to login to your Velocity Account via the panel on the right hand side of the page when selecting your preferred flights. This will ensure the appropriate seats available for your level of membership are displayed correctly.
...

¹ Preferential Seating and Advance Seat Selection is at all times subject to availability of requested seats.

Lemon lime and bitters or lime and soda are my go-to drinks.

Both go well with vodkda in March :p

Isn't Angostura Bitters an alcoholic liquid?

Technically yes. However the quantity of bitters in a Lemon Lime & Bitters (or any other drink) is so low that it is usually regarded as a soft drink.

Almost 1.5 months for me! :) Even shed a few KG in the process (with more to come...).

Sparkling water in a champagne glass here

Ugh, I think I just booked my wife onto the only 737-700 VA service from Syd to BNE...and in business lol.

I guess thats what happens when you assume that they are all 73Hs hahaha

Time to call the Plat line monday :)

73W's have great leg space in row 1 on the right hand side ... (approx 1 metre)
